One day, Howard Kelly, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door in order to pay his way through school, found he had only one coin left, and he was hungry.

    He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he became very nervous when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

    Young woman thought he looked hungry so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe(欠) you?”

     “You don't owe me anything,” she replied, “We never accept payment for a kindness.” He said, “Then I thank you from my heart.”

    Years later that young woman became very ill and was finally sent to the big city, where they called in specialists (专家）to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation (咨询). When he heard the name of the town she came from, he went to her room. He recognized her at once. He decided to do his best to save her life.

    After a long struggle, the battle was won. The woman thought it would take the rest of her life to pay for the final bill. But when she saw the bill, she read these words: “Paid in full with one glass of milk” (Signed by Dr. Howard Kelly).

    We had a terrible school trip last week．Some students were late．Then we waited half an hour for the school bus，but it didn't arrive. Taohuayuan

    It lies in Taoyuan County and is about 34 km away from Changde. The temples here were built in the 10th century. During the reign(统治) of Guangxu (1875-1908) of the Qing Dynasty, a scenic spot(景点) appeared according to an article written by Tao Yuanming, a famous writer of the Jin Dynasty. The tour area today is made up of four parts- the Taohua Mountain, the Taoxianling, the Taoyuan Mountain and the Qinren Village.

    Changde Poem Wall is a 4-kilometre-long riverbank alongside the Yuanjiang, which is engraved(雕刻) with poems, handwriting and paintings and it is listed as the longest wall with engraved arts in Guinness Record.
