China is a country with the largest {#blank#}1{#/blank#}in the world. Too many people cause too much {#blank#}2{#/blank#},for example,the food problem. And today, in order to {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the increasing population,China has carried out the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}of family planning. That is late marriage,late childbirth and having fewer but healthier {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Men of 22 years old and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} of 20 years old can get married. If a man of 25 gets married to a woman of 23 or {#blank#}7{#/blank#} 23 ,their marriage is a late marriage. Childbirth by a woman at the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}of 25 or more is late childbirth.

    The {#blank#}9{#/blank#} encourages people to have only one child in a family. And one -child policy is still needed in China in the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}years. We have a long way to go.

    Is there something strange high up in the world's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} mountains? If so, is it a big bear? Is it monkey? Or is it a kind of man?

    No one knows. This mystery has puzzled the world for years.

    In 1887, a mountain climber found large footprints in the snow. They looked like the footprints of a very large man. But men don't walk {#blank#}2{#/blank#} shoes in the snow!

    In 1906, another climber saw more than footprints. Far off, he saw a very large animal standing on two legs. As he watched, it ran very {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

Fifteen years later, newspaper had new stories about the "something". A mountain climber said he had seen the "{#blank#}4{#/blank#}" walk slowly across the snow, far below him. He said it looked like a very large man.

    From then on, more and more people had stories to tell. But not until 1951 did a mountain climber bring back of large footprints. "The pictures showed clearly {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the Snowman walked on two legs." So it was not a bear or a monkey. Could it be an ape man? The mystery grew! And the mystery keeps growing. Some day we may {#blank#}6{#/blank#} what it is that makes the large footprints.
