    Do you have a good sleep every day? March 21st is World Sleep Day. It's a good time to think about our sleeping habits and get more sleep.

    Sleep is important because it gives us time recover from the stress(压力 )of living. But today, heavy stress and the habit of using smart-phones before bedtime make people lose sleep, according to the World Health Organization.

    About 62 percent of adult(成人)in the world feel that they don't sleep well, according to 2020 Philip Global Sleep Survey. In China, around 50 million to 60 million people have sleeping problems. Losing just one or two hours of sleep every night can effect( 影响) us.

    “If you don't get enough sleep at night, you may sleep in school. If you're asleep, you don't learn anything.” said Mary Carskadon, a sleep researcher at Brown Medical School. How much sleep do you need? That depends on(取决于) how old you are. The Sleep Foundation says that teenagers(青少年)need 8.5 to 9 hours a day.

    How can you sleep well? Having good sleeping habits is a good way. Stop using digital devices(电子设备)too much. Try to go to sleep and get up at the same time every day. Even on weekends or during holidays. Relax before bed each night by listening to soft(舒缓的) music.
