A video showing a traffic police officer pretending to be blind being denied permission to get on a bus with a guide dog has been drawing public attention and has led to heated online discussions about the lack of support and care for the visually impaired(视觉障碍人士). As shown in the video, wearing a blindfold, the officer wasn't allowed on the bus with the guide dog, and was told no dogs are allowed whether they're guide dogs or not. Some passengers also scolded the officer for making a scene and wasting their time, while the dog appeared very distressed.

The guide dog's owner Gao Zhipeng, who is visually impaired, told media Monday that this has been happening almost every day since he brought Taobao home in 2014,and it is the same when catching a cab. And each time they were refused, Taobao would sink into depression for days.

The guide dog being denied boarding is just the tip of the iceberg, compared to the various difficulties faced by the country's visually impaired population every day when they leave their home.

Read the following passage. Summarize the main idea and the main point(s) of the passage in no more than 60 words. Use your own words as far as possible.

As is known to all, many things can be measured in terms of data. Sometimes data can indeed tell the truth. With the help of data we can easily know the price of a can of Coke in the supermarket or the result of a football match or the temperature of a certain day. Obviously, data can make our life easier and more comfortable. What is more important, data seem to be fairer than words or statements. If the data are true, we don't have to worry about being cheated. Nowadays, as lies exist in the world, data are expected to tell the truth. Therefore, many of us would rather believe data.

On the other hand, if we judge things only by data from the so-called specific research, aren't we a little too narrow-minded? Many people often treat the so-called specific data unwisely just to make sure that they are making the right decisions. But sometimes we may find that data aren't everything. For example, how can you tell that somebody isn't a good student just because he or she doesn't get high marks in the final examination?

There are many things in our life which cannot be measured by data. For example, the degree of your feeling happy in your life, the depth of love between you and your friends, and the faith you have in your country. We can only feel them in our hearts but can never express them in data.

There is no doubt that analyzing the exact data is important to assessment of an actual event. But data should be dealt with wisely. We often get wrong data which mislead us. We should try our best to be wise thinkers. Remember, data have no feeling but we humans have. Data do not mean much to people if we do not have the abilities to analyze the data with the knowledge and confidence to judge whether they are true or false.

Data are data after all. Life is much more colorful than the pale data. So give the cold data a warm heart and we'll find that the world is far more wonderful than the pale data can describe.

阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。

In our modern world, when something wears out, we throw it away and buy a new one. The problem is that countries around the world have growing mountains of rubbish because people are throwing out more rubbish than ever before.

How do the society become a throwaway one? First of all, it is now easier to replace an object than to spend time and money repairing it. Thanks to modern manufacturing (制造业) and technology, companies are able to produce products quickly and inexpensively. Products are plentiful and cheap.

Another cause is our love of disposable (一次性的) products. As busy people, we are always looking for ways to save time and make our lives easier. Companies produce thousands of different kinds of disposable products: paper plates, plastic cups, and cameras, to name a few.

Our appetite for new products also contributes to the problem. We are addicted to buying new things. Advertisements persuade us that newer is better and that we will be happier with the latest products. The result is that we throw away useful possessions to make room for new ones.

All around the world, we can see the consequences of this throwaway lifestyle. Mountains of rubbish just keep getting bigger. To decrease the amount of rubbish and to protect the environment, more governments are requiring people to recycle materials. However, this is not enough to solve our problem.

Maybe there is another way out. We need to repair our possessions instead of throwing them away. We also need to rethink our attitudes towards spending. Repairing our possessions and changing our spending habits may be the best way to reduce the amount of rubbish and take care of our environment.

Misha had a two-year-old dog called Gandalf, a search and rescue dog. Misha had trained him for a year with South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association.

Misha would train Gandalf whenever she had time. She would give him something like a shoe to smell, then hide it and say to him, "Find, boy!" Hearing this, Gandalf would race off. Soon he would turn up with the very object in his mouth, looking up at her and wagging(摆动)his tail happily. Misha was sure that together, they two would make a brilliant team.

Last Sunday, a 12-year-old boy Michael disappeared from his group's campsite in Doughton Park, 7000 rough acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. A massive search had been launched, but for 3 days there was barely a track of the boy. The rescue teams were about to lose hope when Misha and Gandalf stepped in.

But this was their first real job. Gandalf would have to pick up the missing boy's smell in the air after three days, a challenging task for even the sharpest animal.

Misha gathered her team of six other members, and they headed north. A sister team had been searching the woods through the night. Misha's team would take over later that rainy morning.

All the searchers found were some dropped potato chips west of Michael's campsite. They'd obtained an unwashed T-shirt from Michael's backpack that hadn't been touched by anyone else and handled it with gloves, carefully cutting it into smaller pieces and sealing(密封) them up in plastic bags.

At 8 a.m. Misha's team were briefed on every detail about Michael. Misha carefully studied his picture to lock his image in her mind. She pulled a bright yellow jacket over Gandalf's head. It had large letters on each side saying "RESCUE", which made Gandalf look like a solider.

Paragraph 1

Then Misha opened a bag containing the pieces of Michael's shirt.

Paragraph 2

The rescue team were about to stop when Gandalf suddenly slowed down nearby a ruined castle (城堡)
