China's in﹣orbit Shenzhou﹣16 crew （全体人员），including Jing Haipeng，Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao（网络直播） the first science class from the Mengtian lab module of the China Space Station for the first time on Thursday. 

It is the fourth lecture of the "Tiangong Class" series，China's space science education program，aiming at encouraging young people to achieve their space dreams. 

During the lecture，the crew showed their living and working environment in the Mengtian lab module （舱）. Connected with the Tianhe core module and Wentian lab module，formed a basic T﹣shape structure of the space station. 

The crew showed several interesting experiments in the microgravity （微重力） environment. For example，they showed how a candle flame （火焰），they explained the law of conservation of momentum （动量守恒） by showing the collision （碰撞）

The crew answered questions from the students in the end. When asked whether space rubbish can be seen from the space station and how the space station protects itself，Jing said that they haven't found any space rubbish so far. He said that space rubbish is harmful to the station，and said that the scientists on the ground will keep an eye on its move. "Once there is a threat （威胁），action would be taken，" he said. The space station is also protected by some special equipment. "Even if we meet space rubbish，" he added. 

The Shenzhou﹣16 crew set off to space on May 30，2023 and returned to the Dongfeng landing site in November of the same year. 

It was Mother's Day. When I woke up this morning, I knew something was 1 in the house. Usually, I am the first to get up. But this morning, I could hear my son get up and he was searching around in the 2 . I heard the sound of glasses and dishes ringing, the fridge door opening and closing, and water running. Things sounded quite 3 .

I called his name to see what was going on. My little boy Bill quickly answered." Don't 4 , Mom!" he shouted as he came running to my bedroom door." I'm making something special 5 you this Mother's Day. I'm making a nice breakfast, and I want to 6 you in the bed."

I was surprised because Bill had 7 made breakfast before. I considered if I should get up and 8 him. However, I decided to lie back and wait to see what he would 9 for me. I smelled eggs burning, and I heard sausages (香肠) frying (煎) quickly. He was making a 10 in the kitchen!

After a few minutes, I heard my little boy knock at the bedroom door. 11 came into the room with some sausages and eggs, a hamburger and a glass of milk. The sausages were 12 and the eggs were burnt (烧焦的). This was his first time cooking. I could feel the tears of great 13 coming to my eyes as he put the dish of food on my bed and gave me a kiss."Happy Mother's Day!"he said.

I ate the meal proudly 14 it was difficult to make the burnt eggs and hard sausages go down my throat.

Yes, that was many years ago.

Now, when Bill calls to wish me well on Mother's Day, the 15 of that morning comes back. We always laugh about it. It has become a special story that we share.

Sara is fourteen years old. She gets up at seven o'clock in the morning and has breakfast at seven thirty. Then she goes to school by bus. After the lessons she plays in the park with her friends and they like flying kites. Sara goes home at five o'clock in the afternoon. She has dinner with her mother and father. Her father likes cooking and he is good at it! Sara goes to bed at half past nine in the evening.

In the US, about 400,000 students are learning Chinese. Chinese is getting more and more popular there.

Murray is one of the Chinese learners. He became interested in Chinese tea culture when he was 12 years old. To learn more about tea and find the best tea, he started to learn Chinese.

Murray spent two years learning Chinese at the University of Pittsburgh." Those two years of study life were very busy," he said. He went to a class at 8 a. m. on weekdays. All students needed to speak Chinese in class. Every Monday and Wednesday he went to a grammar class at 2 p. m. For Murray, Chinese grammar is easy because the Chinese language has no tense(时态). But the pronunciation is really a hard part of the language. To improve it, Murray needed to practice Chinese four tones(声调) every day.

Peppa is a little pig. Many people know her name because they can see her on TV. Peppa has a big family. Her three family photos are on her desk. In the first photo, you can see Peppa's father, mother and little brother George. What about the next photo? Peppa's grandparents are in it. Who are in the last photo? Her uncle's family. Uncle Pig, Aunt Pig, their daughter Choel and their son Alexander.

This is a tale of two friends—one is blind, the other has no arms. On their own, the two are "disabled". But together, they are a powerful team that has changed part of their village in North China's Hebei Province into a rich, green forest. Meet 53-year-old Jia Haixia and Jia Wenqi! 

Their story began in 2000, when Haixia, who was already blind in his right eye, lost his left one after an illness. Wenqi lost his arms in an accident when he was just three. Neither could. find a job, so the two decided to team up. They rented some poor land and began to plant trees. In return, the local officials paid them a small fee. 

Haixia and Wenqi never imagined that they would end up creating an environmental paradise. Their forest now has over 10,000 trees, hundreds of birds and many other wild animals. In addition, it saves the village from river flooding during the rainy season. 

When the friends work together, they focus on their strengths not their disabilities. Their day begins at 7 a. m. when the sightless Haixia carries Wenqi across the river to get to their worksite. Since they cannot afford to buy young trees to plant, the two use branches from existing trees. Haixia climbs to the tree-top and with Wenqi's direction, selects the perfect branch. He then digs a hole and carefully plants it. Finally, Wenqi waters the area. 

Though hard-working, the men don't make much money. But as Wenqi puts it, "We stand on our own feet. so the fruits of our work taste sweeter. "

Neither Haixia nor Wenqi cares about money. Together, they already have everything they need—a perfect pair of eyes, two strong hands, and the best friendship in the world!
