② What is a dream exactly? Scientists explain that during sleep time your brain reviews your experiences in the day. It tries to connect your new.experiences with the old memories. As your brain connect things, it turns them into a story, and then you get a dream.

③ Dreams may help you deal with worries and fears. What has happened during the day may be painful. While you are sleeping, however, the brain will replay the painful memories in a safe dream space. There the bad memories become less painful.And you will feel better after waking up.

④ Dreams also seem to be able to help you learn. This idea is supported by a study. So scientists advise you not to stay up all night studying,especially when an exam is coming. They say a sweet dream might help you get higher marks.

⑤ Dreams may make you more creative,too. It was reported that a famous songwriter came up with his best song in a dream, and wrote it down as soon as he woke up. However, dreams alone can't bring about creativity..In fact,the songwriter spent a lot of time thinking about the song before the dream.In a word, hard work matters more for creativity, though dreams also have to play a role.

I see all the Spider- Man movies and Spider Man is always my favorite hero (英雄). This isn't because he could do anything. For example, he can't fly, unlike other superheroes, but he fights with bad people all the time. This makes him my favorite superhero.

I also like Peter Parker in the movie. He has the superpower(超能力) when he was just a student. He has to learn to be a common (普通的) person and at the same time, being a superhero is difficult for him, so he has to work hard. In many ways, he's very common. He has many of the same problems like other people. He is very shy. And he can't tell anyone about his story, and this makes him stay away from people.

I think everyone can learn something from Spider Man. He can't always make right decisions (决定), but every time he learns from his mistakes (错误). The important thing is that he always helps people in need. This makes him a true hero.

Chinese researchers reached the top of Qomolangma on May 4, 2022. They set up the world's highest automatic(自动的) weather station at an altitude(海拔 ) of 8,830 meters. This helps them to study the influences of climate change on the environment.

It is the highest automatic weather station in the world now. It has taken the place of the station sitting at an altitude of 8,430 meters on the south side of the mountain, which is the second highest now. This allows Chinese scientists to directly collect data(数据) for the first time from the top of the world's highest mountain.

Collecting and studying data from Qomolangma is not easy. But the data will give valuable information about the condition of local glaciers (冰川) and mountain snow. It will also help scientists study and understand the global monsoon(季风) system, so experts can make proper decision s about climate change.

Yao Tandong, a famous expert, said Chinese scientists had set up eight weather stations from 5,200 to 8,830 meters above sea level. Half of the stations were set up at an altitude higher than 7,000 meters." Along with strong government support and hard work by scientists, China has become a global front- runner in fields such as climate change." Yao said.

On August 3, 2024, Zheng Qinwen made history at the Paris Olympics because she won the gold medal in women's singles tennis. She beat a player from Croatia and became the first Asian(亚洲的) tennis player to win in this event. It was only China's second Olympic gold medal in tennis, after Li Na and Sun Tiantian won a women's doubles title(女子双打) at Athens 2004. It was the first in singles.

 Zheng's body hurt badly during the match but she kept playing until the very last minute. After her big win, Zheng carried the Chinese national flag around the tennis court and then carefully placed it on her chair. Zheng Qinwen sard, National honor(荣誉) is above personal success."

 When Zheng Qinwen was a child, she really wanted to win one gold medal for China. She always dreamed of one day joining Yao Ming, I is Xiang and Ii Na, and to be as successful and important as they were. So she trained really hard to make her dream come true. Zheng hopes more children will dream of playing tennis, keep believing in their dreams and work hard to stand on such a stage in the future.
