Once upon a time，there was a man named Lazy. He wanted to have a big house and it took him over a year to build one. The house was so beautiful that all of his {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(neighbor) admired him very much. 

But as time went by，his house started to have some problems. One day {#blank#}2{#/blank#} old neighbor went past it and said，"Your house is beautiful，but the grass in the yard is a bit overgrown. "Lazy answered {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(quick)，"I know，but it's OK. I {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(cut) it tomorrow. "

A few days later，a mailman came by with a letter for Lazy. The mailman said，"Sir，your house is wonderful，but the windows are a bit dirty. You can make it more wonderful by {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(clean) them. "Lazy replied reluctantly(不情愿地)，"I know，but it's OK. I will do that tomorrow. "

I have recently returned from a trip to London and Paris. It is great to see the historical places in London such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. If you get tired of the historical sites, I can 1 you a good place to travel—the Hard Rock Cafe. It is always 2 to get a T-shirt from there. Also, try to visit the pubs in London. It is very relaxing to visit them. Getting around in London is 3 . Just take the underground to any place in the city.

On the other part of my trip, I visited Paris. It is 4 the most beautiful city I have ever visited. I advise you to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, visit the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre Museum. The Louvre Museum is the museum where you can 5 the famous painting—the Mona Lisa. If you are 6 good food, go to the Latin Quarter. There you will find many cheap 7 . You can spend little money on meals. However, you should know a little French, because it is difficult to get around without knowing any French. Of course you can point out what you want on the 8 , and they understand money!

Another 9 place to visit while in Paris is the Palace of Versailles. It is so big and beautiful. The 10 to Europe was probably one of my most wonderful experiences, and I did it all in a week.

Mount Tai is very famous in the world. Last Sunday, my parents took me there. In the morning, they woke me up early at about 5 o'clock. Because we didn't want the traffic to take up too much time. When we got there by bus.we climbed along the path at once. I felt thirsty and drank some water I could hardly walk any more after about one kilometer. My mother said. "Come on, my dear! Please look at the sights. They're very beautiful. But they look even more beautiful at the top of the mountain." Four hours later, we reached the top. From there we saw some strange shapes of large rocks. How beautiful Mount Tai is! My father said that it was wrong when I pulled a leaf off a plant. We should protect everything there. I think he is right.

It's my second week at junior high. Today is Friday—the best day of the week！

My {#blank#}1{#/blank#} class on Fridays is history and I love it. We are {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the old history of China. I think it's very {#blank#}3{#/blank#} , so I often read the textbook carefully. Now I can remember many facts in the textbook {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. The second class is maths. We have five maths lessons every week. Maths is easy in primary school, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} I think it's a little difficult at junior high. I should spend more time on {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. After maths, we have English. 

We have a reading project. The class is very quiet, because all the students are doing{#blank#}7{#/blank#} projects carefully. We also have a PE class. I'm {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the football team of our class. We play football in the playground. 

Many of {#blank#}9{#/blank#} think Friday afternoons are great. Do you know why? That's because we can{#blank#}10{#/blank#} our favourite classes. I enjoy my school life very much and I hope I can do better in my study. 

It's many people's dream to travel around the world, and Cory Lee has already done it.

Niejiazhuang Village in Weifang is famous for colored clay sculpture handicraft (泥塑手工艺), which dates back to the Ming Dynasty. The Weifang government has {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (encourage) local people to learn traditional handicraft and make more money to get rid of poverty(脱贫).

Nie Peng {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (be) a young villager in Niejiazhuang. He is crazy about clay sculpture handicraft. He began learning it from his father when he was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} child. He has led lots of young craftsmen (手艺人) in and near {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (he) village to make colored clay sculptures and the handicraft has become an important way for local people to get {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (rich) than before.

The tiger is a typical subject for colored clay sculptures. Nie {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (start) to learn to make clay tigers in 2010, the Year of the Tiger. Over these years, he has seen the development of the art form. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} first, the clay tigers were all of the same small size. Now there are tigers of different {#blank#}8{#/blank#} and the largest can be over two meters tall. The tigers used to be colored pink and green, but now have become more colorful.

Today Nie cares for the future of clay sculpture handicraft {#blank#}9{#/blank#} encourages young craftsmen to create more works. He 65{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (real) hopes that the sculpture handicraft will be passed down to the next generation.
