A dentist (牙医) was starting his in work in the morning. Suddenly a man ran in. His face was red and he could only say "Quick! Quick!" The dentist thought he must be very sick. His assistant(助手) helped to make man sit in a chair. The dentist gave the man some medicine to make him sleep. Then, he looked into the man's mouth and pulled out all the bad teeth. When the man woke up, he said in a low voice, "Quick, doctor, quick."

    "It's all right now," the dentist told him. "It's over."

    "You don't understand," said the man," I came to tell you that your house is on fire."

Tony loved basketball. One afternoon on his way to a basketball game, he was walking and dreaming about playing college-basketball the next year. Suddenly a car hit him and he was sent to 1 . 

Tony's doctor told him that 2 his legs were broken, When he heard that , he knew His college basketball dreams 3 came true. Tony did what the doctors told him. 

But it didn't work when he left the hospital, Tony was sent to a recovery(康复）center. 

A week after he arrived there, he met Sunny Chen. Though he couldn't move his legs, Sunny became a coach of a basketball team. It was a on- wheelchair（轮椅） basketball team, because 4 on the team played from a wheelchair. Sunny invited Tony to join the game. Tony played badly, but for the first time since the accident, he 5 feeling sorry for himself. 

After becoming a part of the Suns, Tony improved quickly. Playing basketball was like6 for him. When Tony became sad or 7 ,Sunny was there to help him. The day before Tony 8 the center, he had dinner with Sunny. He asked Sunny 9 he could be so happy, even with his broken legs. 

Sunny smiled and said, "It's really quite 10 . When you keep your face to the sun, the shadows(影子） fall behind. "

 Hi there! This is Cangshan and Erhai National Nature Reserve (苍山洱海国家自然保护区). Flowers and trees look great. My name's Li Peipei and I work with birds.

 In the afternoon, I get up at about 4:00, and then at 4:20p. m. I have breakfast. At  5:30p. m. I go into the forest(森林) and look for(寻找) birds. I write their names in my notebook. At 9:30 in the evening I have lunch. I often have hamburgers and bread. Some birds like my bread, too.

 At three o' clock in the morning I say goodbye to birds. From 3:20 a. m. to 5:00 a. m.,I write all the names on the computer. I have dinner at 5:15 a. m. At 5:45 a. m.,I go to bed and sleep.

I sleep in the day and I almost can't see the sun. But working with birds is great fun. Come to our national nature reserve and let's enjoy nature!

Mother's Day is always a fun time at my house every year. This year is no exception. My brother and I want our mom to feel 1 by giving her a day off from family chores. In the morning，I woke up before everyone else to hang up a poster that 2   "Happy Mother's Day！"My dad also got up early and helped set up a rose bouquet in a vase. 

When my mom woke up，she read cards we 3 out next to her bed with a big smile. While she was watching the morning news with my dad，it was time to 4 my cooking skills. 

I made some delicious food with my brother's help. My mom and I love board games，so after a short 5 around the neighborhood，we played all of her favorites. In my family，playing a fun board game turns into a big 6 and can become very heated. One of us always becomes a loser after being beaten in the game. The afternoon games made all of us tired. A delicious takeout dinner from my mom's favorite restaurant 7 us. The festivities 8 with icecream and more quality family time，while watching one of my mom's favorite movies from her teenage years. 

It was such a 9 day，and it was great to be able to show my mom how much we appreciate her and thank her for what she does for our 10 . Mother's Day should be every day.
