Wang Shu, a Chinese architect(建筑师), has been working hard at designing buildings with old materials. His buildings are like a history book. Visitors will feel like they are in old times. He was given the 2012 Pritzker Architecture Prize(普利兹克建筑奖). The award is regarded as the Nobel Prize in architecture. It is given to a living architect, who has made great achievement in this field. Mr. Wang is the first Chinese citizen to win the prize and the fourth-youngest.

    The prize was founded in 1979 by Jay A. Pritzker and his wife, Cindy. It includes a $100, 000 check and a medal. The prize was given to Mr. Wang at a ceremony in Beijing on May 25.

    Mr. Wang's major projects, all in China, include two in Ningbo, a city near the sea. One is the Ningbo Modern Art Museum. It was built up in 2005. The other one is the Ningbo Historic Museum, and it was finished in 2008.

The museums reused materials from the destroyed buildings. They are wonderful to be in photos. You will feel even more exciting if you travel in them. The Ningbo Historic Museum is a city symbol and is like a history book which tells you what life was in the past.   

  “Everywhere you can see, they don't care about the materials, ”  Mr. Wang said in an interview. “They just want new buildings. I think the material is not just about materials. They have people's experience, memory—many things inside. ”

    Uncle Li and Uncle Wang are good friends．They live next to each other and their farms are both at the foot of the mountain．So they can help each other．But neither of them likes to use his head．They're both poor though they work hard．Most villagers have built new houses，but they still live in the low and broken houses．They never find out why．

    Once Uncle Li went to town to buy some medicine for his wife．In the town he heard the apples in a city were expensive．He told Uncle Wang about it as soon as he went back．They decided to carry some apples to the city．They borrowed some money from their friends and bought nearly 1，000kilograms of apples in the villages and carried them to the city on a tractor．Bad luck!A lot of apples has already been carried there when they arrived．A few days later they had to sell them at a low price （价格）．They felt unhappy and returned to their village．

    "I can't understand why we sustained （蒙受） losses in business while others always profit （盈利）"Uncle Li asked one day．

    "The tractor was too small"Uncle Wang said without thinking．"We'll carry more apples on a truck next time!"

    "I agree!"said Uncle Li．"How foolish （傻的） we were!"

    A man was visiting a rich person's house. As he went along, he saw a box of apples on the side of the road. He said, "I do not want to eat those apples. The rich man will give me very nice food to eat." Then he took the apples and threw them away in the dust(尘土).

    He went on and came to a river. The river had gotten so high, and he could not get through it. He waited for some time and said," I cannot go to the rich man's house today, for I cannot get over the river."

    He started to go home. He had eaten no food that day. And he was very hungry. He came to the apples, and he was glad to take them out of the dust and eat them.

    Do not throw good things away. You might be happy to have them later.

It was the last day of my summer holiday in Spain. I was staying with my family in the south of Spain. It was a very nice 1 with lots to see, such as a very big castle（城堡）and a very interesting museum. Every morning before we 2 our busy day, I would get up early and go to the market to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. 3 I became friends with the market traders who were 4 to see me and greeted（打招呼）me with friendly smiles. So, on that day I had my camera with me and I asked some market traders to stand 5 for a photo. "Of course!" they replied. And they got 6 for me to take the photo. I was looking 7 my camera and walking backwards when suddenly, I 8 to the ground and at the same time knocked a stall（货摊）over. All the produce（农产品）went flying into the air and fell on top of 9 . But it wasn't fruit. It was hundreds of very small 10 and they were all over me. I was very dirty. 

I went red as a beetroot（脸涨得通红）! Everyone in the market burst out laughing which made me very 11 at first. But in the end, I saw the funny 12 of it and started laughing too. I gave the man at the fish stall my 13 , and he took a photo of me covered in fish. I laugh every time I look at that 14 and I don't think it was a very 15 experience at all. 

There was a space exhibition(展览) today. It was the 1  exhibition in my town because the next exhibition will be in six months. So when I heard the 2  , I decided to go there with my parents. The space exhibition was showing when we just 3  there. As we walked in, we saw a huge model of a 4  . This made people know about the living places of astronauts in space. 

Then we 5  the next exhibition area. There we saw models of all the 6  in our solar system. Our earth is one of them. It is blue 7  more than 70% of its surface(表面) is covered with water. I have read books 8  this fact, but seeing this model in real life is a new experience. 

I felt pleased to have the chance to 9  lots of things about space and the universe. I haven't thought about my future job 10  . But after seeing the exhibition, I decided to study hard.
