Hi! My name is Bart Simpson and I'm ten years old. I live in a1 with my parents. It's far from the city (城市) center and there are not many people living here.

Every day, I get up early in the morning.2 a quick breakfast, I walk to school. Classes start (开始) at 8:00 and3 at 3:30. 

When I get home in the afternoon, I take a shower first. Then I do my homework and have dinner. After that, I meet friends. I have some good friends but Mike is my4 friend. We always have fun. Mike has a black bike and I have a blue one. We like 5 them everywhere. At ten o'clock, I go to bed.

Dan is a Grade 7 student and he is 13 years old. He lives on Oak Street in Toronto, Canada. Dan is waiting for the bus because he is going home now. There are also some other people waiting at the bus stop. Dan is looking at them and thinking about where they are going.

There is a short man. He is wearing a blue jacket and a baseball cap. He is reading a map. Maybe he is a tourist(旅游者).There is an old man with glasses. He looks like Dan's grandfather. Dan wants to know where the old man is going. Is he moving to a new town? There is a girl standing near the old man. She looks very worried and is looking at her watch. Maybe she is late for work.

The bus finally comes and Dan gets on with the other people. Dan thinks he can write a story about the people he saw at the bus stop today.

A: Sounds great! The summer vacation is coming soon. 

B: Yes. I will spend some time travelling during the vacation. A: Where are you going?

A: How will you go there?

Tyler was a troublesome student. He sat in the back row. Every time I asked him to answer questions, he'd reply with a flip(轻率的) answer. If he got it wrong, he would get very angry. 

Usually kids could sit quietly in class. However, Tyler was just noisy. One day, Tyler was talking while I was teaching. I said to him, "Tyler, why not join in our discussion instead of having one of your own?" He got up from his chair, pushed it over, and shouted something I can't remember. I sent him to the office and he received a week's out-of-school punishment. 

The week was a wonderful time for me, but when it came to an end, I began to feel worried. So I came up with a plan. On the day of his return, I told him I wanted to start over with him. If he felt like he was going to lose control in class, he could step outside the door for a moment. 

From then on, Tyler was a changed student in my classroom. In fact he was a smart child and he even stopped a fight between two students one day. And he never used the privilege(特权) to leave the class for a moment. I believe that just letting him decide for himself made all the difference. 

When the year was over, he wrote me a thank-you note about how good the year had been for him. I still have it today and find it very moving to reread when I get worried about teaching.

 It is said that Nian was afraid of three things: the color red, fire and noise! So now people fall in love {#blank#}8{#/blank#} them. On New Year's Day, everyone {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(wear) bright red clothes, light- ing fireworks(爆竹) and having fun {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(make) noise all night long.
