What do you dream of doing in the future? We did a survey about jobs that students are going to do when they grow up. 100 students at the Hill School gave their answers. Here are the results.

35% of the students hope to be famous stars. Some of them like music, so they want to be musicians. Some like sports, so they would like to be basketball or football players.

30% of the students are going to be IT engineers. They think the job must become more and more popular, because the computer and the Internet are changing our life and making our life easier. People can do lots of things on the computer with the Internet, such as shopping and communicating with others.

15% of them hope to be scientists. They decide to try their best to study and they want to make our country stronger and better.

10% of the students plan to start their own businesses (公司). Then they can have more time to do what they want to do and maybe they will make much money one day.

There are other jobs for the students to choose, such as doctors, teachers and drivers. The last ten students decide to choose these jobs.

It's great and important to have a dream. Remember not to give up your dream. One day it may come true.

Food and festivals are important parts of Chinese culture. Here is some lucky food in different festivals. 

 In a new study, researchers found a fact. Whether it's sports practice, music lessons or a usual catch- up with friends, when children are doing after- school activities, they may feel happier and healthier than those who always look at a screen.

 What's more, children's happiness improved when they joined in after- school activities, while things were completely ▲ when they spent time on social media (媒体) or playing video games.

 The researchers studied 61,759 school students from Grade Four to Grade Nine. They worked out how many days every week children joined in after- school activities from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Then they compared the number to well- being factors (幸福的因素 ) like satisfaction, sadness and worry.

 Lead researcher Dr. Rosa Virgara said the research showed how some out- of- school activities can improve children's happiness, while others, especially screens, can be bad for their mental(精神上的) and physical health." Screens are a big distraction(分散注意力的事物) for children of all ages. Whether children are playing games, watching TV or using social media, there is something about all screens that hurts their happiness," she said.

 The study also showed that even children who were already happy also benefited (得益于) from joining in after- school activities." This shows that there is a big need to find ways to encourage children of all ages and backgrounds to join in activities that keep them away from TVs, computers and smart phones," Dr. Rosa Virgara said.

 On the way to the kitchen, you want to call a friend. Your cell phone is by the window because it gets its energy from the sun. But you don't need to pick up the phone. You can just touch your jacket sleeve(袖子) to make the call.

 It's breakfast time. You reach for the milk, but a voice says, "Don't drink that!" Your fridge knows the milk is old and tells the supermarket to replace it. Ten minutes later, it's delivered by a drone(无人机).

 As you leave for work, the lights turn off by themselves. Your home goes into"sleep" mode to save energv. In 2045, cars drive themsclves, so you just tell your driverless car where you want to go.

 Will all this come true? Perhaps the future is much closer than we think.
