People there love these pets and have them as their good friends. Before they keep them in their houses, they take them to animal hospitals to look them over so that they won't carry diseases. They have special animal food stores, though they can get animal food in almost every store. Some people spend a lot on animal food. When you visit their homes, they will be very glad to show you their pets and they are very proud of them. You will also find that almost every family has a bird feeder(野鸟喂食器) in their garden. All kinds of birds are welcomed to come and i have a good meal. They have a law against killing animals.
If an animal was hit by a car, people would be very sad about it. Pets are becoming more and more popular, especially in cities. But there are also some problems. For example, some pets pollute the environment. They make too much noise, and cost too much money. They can also bring diseases to the people around them. People should think about these problems before they decide to keep pets.
