The Fox and the

    One morning, a fox sees a rooster.He thinks, "This is my breakfast."

He comes up to the rooster and says," I know you can sing very well.  Can you sing for me ?" The rooster is glad. He closes his eyes and begins to sing. The fox sees that and catches him in his mouth and carries him away.

    The people in the field see the fox. They cry,"Look ,look! The fox is carrying the rooster away." The rooster says to the fox,"Mr Fox, do you understand？ The people say you are carring their rooster away. Tell them I am yours. Not theirs."The fox opens his mouth and says," The rooster is mine, not yours." Just then the rooster runs away and flies into the tree。

    Tom is seven years old. He goes to school every day. The school is far from his home. So he goes there by taxi and comes back home on time (准时). But today he is late. His mother asks him, “Why are you late today?” “I am in the headmaster's (校长)office. ” “Why do you go to the headmaster's office?” “Because my teacher asks us a question in class, and nobody (没人) can answer it, but I can. ” “It's good to answer the teacher's questions.”“But the question is 'Who puts glue on my chair?'"

    There are no classrooms in Animal School, but there is a forest and a river. The forest is not small. It's big and green. The river is small, but it's long. Look, there are some animals there. Listen, what are they talking?

Mr Cow: Welcome to Animal School What's the matter?

Little Duck: I'm sad. I can't run, and I can't jump. I'm a bad duck.

Mr Cow: I don't think so. Please don't be sad.

Animals: Come on, everyone! Let's swim together!

Mr Cow: Have a try, Little Duck! You can swim very well.

Animals: Wow! Look at the Little Duck! He is so fast!

Little Duck: I'm the first! I'm so happy!

    My father is a teacher. He teaches Chinese. He likes his job and his students. And the students like him too. He goes to work from Monday to Friday. He does not work on Saturday and Sunday. Every day, he gets up at five thirty. At six, he has breakfast. Then he goes running. He goes to school at seven. He has lunch at school. He goes home at five in the afternoon. At six o'clock, he has dinner. He doesn't watch TV. He likes reading books with me. He goes to bed at nine thirty.

    It's eight o'clock in the morning. I usually have a class at school, but today {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. My father often reads newspapers at this hour (小时), but today {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. My mother usually teaches at school, but today she's sitting in the car too.

    It's nine o'clock. My father, mother and I are in the park.

    It's ten o'clock. We're flying kites on the lawn.

    It's twelve o'clock. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

    It's four o'clock in the afternoon. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.
