    Wilson had an idea, he climbed up a very tall tree and then climbed across the chairlift's wire to reach his friend. They hold many kinds of activities in honor of old people to wish them good health and a long life.

    The festival comes during the golden time of fall. On the day, people traditionally drink Chrysanthemum(菊花)wine, eat Double-Ninth Cakes and climb mountains. They also carry a kind of plant, its name is dogwood, People in ancient times believed that the plant could drive away evil(邪恶的) spirits and prevent them from catching an illness in winter.

    If the dream is big enough. A school was across from my home and I often saw a girl student playing basketball. She practiced over and over again, sometimes until it got dark. I asked her why she practiced so hard. She said, "I like basketball. I'm going to play for a top basketball team. I want to be the best."

    One day, I saw the girl sitting there, looking upset. I asked what was wrong. "Oh, nothing," she answered. "I'm just too short. "The coach told her that she was too short to play for a top team, so she should stop dreaming about it. But later she told me that her father said the coach was wrong. He just did not understand the power(力量)of a dream. Her dad told her that nothing could stop her if her dream was big enough.

    The next year, as the girl and her team went to the Northern California Championship game, she was seen by a college recruiter(招生人员). She won the scholarship(奖学金)to study in a college and she could play for a famous women's basketball team! Her dream came true!

My parents have always said they felt uncomfortable traveling by train when they were my age. When they talk about the crowded and airless rain carriages(车厢), I just always can't imagine how it feels to travel by train like that. 

However, train travel is quite a different experience today and the train service has improved greatly, especially when the high-speed rail (HSR)service has been widely out into use in China. HSR refers to(指)any railway in China with a speed of 250 km/h or higher. The high-speed rail has experienced rapid development since our country started to run its first high-speed train between Beijing and Tianjin in 2008. The environment in the high-speed trains is the same as that in an airplane. Now the high-speed rail in China is really fast, convenient and comfortable

Recently, Chinese people have become known for their speed of developing and making changes. Such a high speed is known as China Speed. The development of the high-speed rail has let me realize what China Speed is. However, China Speed means a lot more. We've seen so many tall buildings show up almost overnight. It took us only several tens of years to go from the difficulty of traveling to roads and highways connecting every comer. Mobile phones with 5G technology show more and more importance in everyone's life. China Speed has made a difference to our country and even the world. 

But as we enjoy China Speed, we should also be serious about the problems it has brought to us, such as environmental pollution and the imbalance(不平衡)of development. It is our responsibility to bring China a better future.
