Ma Yun was born on October 15,1964 in Hangzhou， Zhejiang Province. He is the founder (创始人)of Alibaba Group.

At the age of 10， Ma Yun took an interest in English. Each morning， he rode his bike to Hangzhou Hotel to talk with foreigners. In 1988， he became an English teacher. Then Ma Yun met Bill Aho， an American businessman， in Hangzhou. In 1995， he visited the United States for the first time. He stayed with Mr. Aho's family. There， he was introduced to the World Wide Web. Then he returned home and set up one of China's first web companies(公司)， China Yellowpages in the same year. On February 21,1999， he founded Alibaba. He chose Alibaba as the name because everyone knew the story of Alibaba.

Ma Yun had problems along the way. But his hard work made Alibaba an online success.

    This is Cara and Ben. They are twins(双胞胎). They are twelve. This is their bedroom. It's a nice room. There are two beds in the room. The yellow bed is Cara's and that green one is Ben's. The twins have one desk and two chairs. The chairs look the same. Cara's sweater is on his bed. Ben's coat is on his chair. Their clock, books and pencil-cases are on the desk. Their school bags are behind the chairs.

    Andi Davise, 49, regularly crossed the trail through the Phoenix Mountains Preserve with a few other hikers before sunrise. This morning, however, she met nobody and heard only the sounds of animals.

    Some time later, Andi got to the steep slope(陡坡), she climbed up to the top by using her hands. When she finally reached the top, she noticed a dark shape several inches from her left foot. She was frightened and then looked carefully. "It's a dog and it's dead." she said to herself. It took her a few seconds to realize that the dog's eyes were open. A thin, dirty bull dog was looking at her.

    She greeted in a low and soft voice to show she was friendly. The bull dog shook when he heard her voice.

    Andi inched closer and dropped some water into the dog's mouth. He tried to stand up but failed. Something was wrong with his left front leg. Andi pulled out her phone to contact her husband, Jason, but he didn't respond. She knew that if she didn't carry the dog down the mountain, he would die.

She carefully put her arms under the dog's body. He was so weak that he fell into her chest.

    Andi had great trouble going down the steep, rocky mountainside with the 50-pound animal in her arms. Even her arms and back started aching, she didn't give up. The trip up had taken 30 minutes while going back down took twice that.

    Andi's husband received her messages at last. He and their son, Justin, jumped into the car and drove to pick up Andi.

Later that morning, an X-ray showed that the bull dog was badly hurt, he was likely to lose his left leg.

    A few days later, the Davises returned to the animal hospital. "The first thing he did was to give me a kiss, then he went right to my son." Andi said. They named the dog Elijah and brought him home that day.

    The Milu deer is a kind of animal with large horns (角). They used to be common in China a long time ago. They lived together and ate grass and the soft parts of trees. In the past, people did not protect the Milu deer but killed them for food or sport, so they disappeared from China.

    Fortunately, before all of them disappeared, the Duke of Bedford (贝德福特公爵) took some to Britain. The Milu deer liked the cool, wet weather in England and their number increased year by year. When in 1985 the government of China wanted to bring back the Milu deer, the Duke of Bedford could help. The first deer came back to China to the Nanhaizi Milu Park near Beijing and to Dafeng, Jiangsu Province.

    Since they returned to China, their number has grown quickly. There are now so many of them that a new park has been opened for them in Hubei Province. Now the Milu deer live in the wildlife parks and have good protection. We hope that one day they can live in the wild again.

    Bob Smith is old. He has two big houses and a new car. He has no wife, but he is a father of four children. He has two sons and two daughters. One son is from Canada. His name is Jack. He gives different toys to different children. The boys play with toy cars. The girls play with doll and toy animals. Bob Smith is their good friend.

    Blue Ocean Aquarium is a great place for families to take a holiday. Children love to see the sea animals and watch movies about sharks in it.

    Last Saturday morning, Mr. Black took his wife and two little sons to the aquarium. At the ticket office, he asked, "How much shall I pay to get in?" The woman at the ticket office answered, "The price is 20 dollars for each adult(成年人) or any kid older than five. We let kids in free(免费) if they are five or younger. How old are your kids?" Mr. Black said, "The older one is six and the younger one is three. I think I must buy three tickets." The woman was surprised. She said, "Sir, don't you want to save 20 dollars? If you tell me your older son is five, I won't know the difference." Mr. Black said with a smile, "Yes, that sounds right, but my kids will know the difference."

    From Mr. Black's story, we know honesty is very important in the modern society. We should tell the truth to the people around us, especially to the kids.
