Two brothers worked together on a farm. One was married and had five children. He had a large 1. The other had no wife yet. Although they lived in different houses. They shared 2 they got from their farm.

    One day, the single(单身的)brother said to himself, "It's not 3 that we share all the rice. I'm 4 and I need less than my brother." So, every night he took a bag of rice from his store-room and 5 the field between their houses, putting it into his brother's store-room. But some people do not agree with these explanations(解释)．They believe that dinosaurs died as Earth slowly got {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(cold)than before. Until now, people are still not sure {#blank#}10{#/blank#} dinosaurs disappeared.

Mr. Green is a strange（奇怪的） teacher. When he gives a class，he doesn't look at his 1 —he only looks at his book. 

Mark doesn't2 Mr. Green's class because he always calls "Mark" to answer（回答） in class. 

One day，Mr. Green says: "Now I have a 3 . Let's ask Mark to answer it. Mark? Please. " He says it with his eyes（眼睛） on the4 ，not looking at Mark. But the question is too 5 . Mark doesn't know how to answer it.

"Good，Mike. Please give the answer to us. "Mr. Green says. 

From then on，Mr. Green always asks "10 " to answer his questions in class and he knows who is "Mike"!

Nick is a 14-year-old schoolboy.  His  life  is  full  of exams  and  studies  on weekdays. He    has little free time.    He thinks playing computer games is the best way to relax. When he has free time, he sits in front of the computer. Just like that, he doesn't eat or drink for several(几个) hours.

Last weekend,he played games in front of the computer again.He was too excited and didn't want to move. He didn't have anything for six hours. When he had to go to the bathroom,he found he could not move. He was taken to the hospital. The doctor told him he should do some different kinds of activities. In other words,he needs more exercise to have a healthy body.

After coming back from the hospital, Nick follows the doctor's advice(建议).He often plays soccer with his friends. Sometimes he still plays computer games on weekends,but he never does it for long. Now, he lives a happy and healthy life.

When I was a boy, I used to love walking in the woods around my home. My mom warned me several times 1 to travel so far that I would lose sight of the house. Being a naughty (淘气的) boy, 2 , I soon found myself walking further away, testing just 3 I could go into the woods without getting lost. After 4 my way once for two hours, though, I decided that I had better leave a trail (痕迹).
