There is a popularclub in many schools in America. It's the Home work Club. More and more studentsspend their afternoons at these clubs. Games, computers and TVs are all aroundkids at home, so the Homework Club is just for them to do their homework in aquiet place. Teachers there can answer students' questions and help with their homework.If students finish their homework on time, they will get a snack. It's alwayschildren's favourite food. ●Time

Each session(阶段)is four weeks long. Monday through Thursday. You may attend one, two.Three or four days a week. The Homework Club takes place in the Bay LaurelLibrary.

Monday. Tuesday andThursday: 3:00 pm-4:00 pm; Wednesday : 1:30 pm—2:30pm

●Fees(费用)

One Sunday evening, it was quite dark when old Stanley went for his walk. He was walking long the sidewalk, suddenly, he saw a white car coming around the corner at high speed. It was going too fast and crashed into a red car in the street where he was walking. He rushed up to the cars to see if anyone was hurt and needed help.

The two drivers were arguing. "You came around the corner too fast, "one man said. "No!" said the driver of the white car. "That's not true! Your car was parked in a wrong place." Stanley listened to their argument and then said the white car driver was wrong to drive too fast. The driver of the red car asked Stanley to prove he was right in court(法庭). Stanley gave the driver his name and telephone number.

Next Thursday morning. Stanley was asked to go to the court. The lawyer(律师) for the driver of the white car asked him a lot of question about what he had seen. Then he asked Stanley how old he was.

"I am eighty-two," answered Stanley. "Do you usually wear glasses?" asked the lawyer.

"Yes, I do." answered Stanley. "Were you wearing them on the night of the accident(交通事故)?" the lawyer asked."No," replied Stanley.

Then the lawyer said, "Why should the court believe you? You are eighty-two years were not wearing your glasses, and it was dark. How far can you see in the dark?"

Stanley thought about it for a minute. "Well" he said, "when it's dark, I can see the Moon. How far is that?"

I wake up at six in the morning. Dad is putting the cows and sheep onto the trucks. Mom is putting my favorite milk food and some dried meat (肉干) in a bag. We will start driving to another past ure (牧场). We won't forget to take our yurt(毡房) with us!

 My family moves like this four times every year. It's a tradition (传统) of the Kazak people in Altay, Xinjiang. We have about 100 sheep and 40 cows. We move to different places as the seasons change. So, our animals can always have fresh grass to eat.

 Kazak people have been traveling this way for thousands of years. In the past, it took people about ten days to get from one place to another. If it rained or snowed, traveling was even harder. Luckily, now we have trucks. It only takes us five hours on the road! And as we move from place to place, our lives keep getting better and better.

Many people like to go to the library because it's a quiet and bright place for reading. But there must be some differences between your action in the library and your action at home. Here are some rules for you to learn before you enter a library.
