The Incredibles is a cartoon movie about superheroes with huge power. However, it still feels like a film about ordinary people. The movie is about a superhero called Mr Incredible. He is very strong, and he can save people from danger.

However, 15 years later, Mr Incredible and other superheroes have to give up their"Hero work" and live a common life. Then Mr Incredible becomes " Bob Parr" and starts working for a company.

Just before he becomes "Bob Parr", Mr Incredible marries another superhero "Elastigirl", and later she becomes " Helen Parr". Together they create a family and have three children—Violet(daughter), Dash(son)and Jack(baby). They also have super power. The parents ask their children not to use their super power.

Bob finds it very difficult to live the life of common person. He misses being a superhero and helping other people. One day a secret government department asks him to do some hero work. Bob is happy to do so. Unluckily, Bob soon finds himself in deep trouble. However, with the help of his superhero wife and children, he is able to fight back and again, the good beats the bad.

Jerry is a world-famous mountain climber. He climbed many high mountains in the world. Starting in 2015, he and his friends spent two years on an adventure (探险) in South America. In 2018, a famous geography magazine even named him Adventure of the Year.

Although Jerry achieved great success, he didn't feel satisfied. He asked himself, "Is it enough to climb the highest mountains? Am I doing something helpful? How can I change my adventures into something that can help the world?"

Jerry learned that scientists need plants, rocks and water samples (样本) from the places far away to do research. But scientists can't get there themselves because such places are hard to reach—only the bravest adventurers can make it. Jerry thought he could do something to help. He then came up with an idea. He organized a team of top adventurers to collect samples for scientists. By studying the samples, scientists could know more about the earth and find ways to protect it.

Recently Jerry and his adventurer friends have discovered a special plant life of Mount Qomolangma. The samples they brought back have helped scientists study how plants live in extreme (极端的) condition.

For Jerry, this kind of adventure is most satisfying. "Such adventures had made us see life in a different way. Now, being the best climber isn't important for me. What matters is doing something helpful while climbing the mountains. There is still much more we can do," Jerry said to a newspaper.

Do you get angry when your friends sing loudly while you are trying to work? Or when your best friend does not wait for you after school? 

If you do, you need to take control of（控制）your feelings and stop getting angry so easily. Getting angry with people can cause you to lose friends. 

Gary Egeberg, an American high school teacher, has written My Feelings Are Just Like Wild Animals to help you control your feelings. It tells teens how to stay cool when bad things happen to them. The book says that getting angry only makes problems worse. 

It can never make them better. Getting angry is not a natural（自然的）way to act, the book says. It is just a bad habit, like smoking. The book says you can control your anger easily—all you have to do is to tell yourself not to be angry. 

When a baby falls over, it only cries if people are watching it. Like a baby you should only get angry if you are sure it is the right thing to do. 

The book gives many tips to help you if you get angry easily. Here are our top three: 

①Keep a record. Every time you get angry, write down why you are angry. Look at it later and you will see you get angry too easily. 

②Ask your friends to stop talking to you when you get angry. This will teach you not to be angry. 

③Do something different. When you get angry, wall away from the problem and go somewhere else. Try to laugh! 

Tom and Mike were good friends, and they began to work in a company together the same year. They both worked hard. After several years, however, the boss made Mike manager (经理) but Tom was still an office worker. Tom couldn't stand it, so he handed a letter to his boss, saying that he decided to resign (辞职) his job because the boss didn't value his hard work at all.

The boss knew that Tom worked very hard for years. He thought for a moment and said, "I hope you will do one more thing for our company before you leave. Perhaps you will change your mind." Tom agreed. The boss asked him to go and find out if there was anyone who sold water-melons in the market. Tom returned soon. He said he had found a man selling watermelons. The boss asked the price of the watermelons. Tom shook his head and went back to the market again. When he returned, he told the boss it was $2 for each kilo.

The boss told Tom to wait for a moment in his office, and he called Mike in. He asked Mike to find if there was anyone selling watermelons in the market. Later Mike returned and said, "Only one man is selling watermelons, $2 for each kilo. He has 100 watermelons in all. Every watermelon weighs about 2 kilos. They were brought here two days ago, pretty fresh and sweet." Tom got to know the difference between Mike and himself. He decided not to resign his job any more.

Here is some "breaking" news: the International Olympic Committee（IOC）has added（增加）breaking（霹雳舞）to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games! 

Breaking might be one of the very unusual sports to be added to the Games, as it's often seen as more of an art than a sport. 

The dance style first appeared（出现）on the streets of New York in the1970s. Performers dance to hip-hop music while using different movements. In the1980s, breaking swept around the world when it was adopted by pop stars such as Michael Jackson. Jackson's moonwalk became popular among teenagers worldwide. 

Why did the IOC choose breaking? Over the past few years, the Olympics has become less interesting to young people. The IOC is trying to make the Games more "youthful", with sports that young people actually do in their spare time. "We want to take sports to the youth," said IOC President. 

To be added to the Olympics, a sport must be widely practiced by men in at least 75 countries and by women in no fewer than 40 countries. Breaking certainly meets this standard（标准）, according to The Sydney Morning Herald. It is also competitive（有竞争力的）and requires strict training just like other sports. Dancers need to have the strong upper body and core（核心）strength. 

"I train at least 10 hours a week, and I've been training since I was a young kid," top Australian break dancer Lowe said. 

"It's great that it gives us more recognition（认可）as a sport," said British break dancer Karam. "Now, the efforts of break dancers are gradually accepted and even admired by a growing number of people. And for the Olympics, it will attract young people who may not follow some of the traditional sports."
