Nature Festival celebrates South Australian nature with over 100 activities for all ages. It is full of creative ways to get you out and about to enjoy all that nature has to offer. Its 10- day programme, usually in September or October, provides both free and ticketed experiences. From "adventure" and"learning" experiences to"slowing down" and"helping out" experiences, there is something for everyone. Here are just some of the activities.
Build-a- bird- box Workshop Explore the role of tree hollows and learn how to build a backyard bird box.
Byards Road Wetland Nature by Night Take your torch (手电筒) and discover, on a guided walk, the wildlife that come out at night.
For the Love of Trees Hear Dr Ralph share his understanding of some artists.
Coastal Dune(沙丘) Walk Walk along the coastline and learn about the work being done at the dunes.
Port River Alive See a short film about who and what lives in the Port River.
