Once upon a time, there stood a beautiful inn at the foot of a mountain. The innkeeper was a greedy old woman {#blank#}1{#/blank#} was always thinking about money. One day, a rich man stopped at the inn. The innkeeper looked at the guest's fat money belt and thought, “Oh, if only all that money could be {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (me)!” 

    The rich man asked for the  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(expensive) room at the inn and he went up to his room to dress for dinner. Now, all around the inn there grew beautiful Japanese ginger plants. Many people say that {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(eat) buds of ginger makes a person forgetful. This gave the innkeeper  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} idea. “This evening for dinner I will serve ginger buds!” she thought.

    “Then, when the rich man {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(leave) tomorrow morning, he'll be forgetful and leave his money belt behind!” She ran into the kitchen and started cooking up the most delicious ginger buds she had ever made. Soon, the rich man came down the stairs and requested dinner. The innkeeper could hardly control her {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(joyful) as she served him dish after dish of ginger buds.

    “Delicious!” said the rich man. When dinner was finished, he went to bed {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(happy). In the morning, the innkeeper saw the rich man off at the front door. As soon as he was out of sight, she ran up to his room. She couldn't find the money belt {#blank#}9{#/blank#} she looked all over the room for it. Suddenly, she noticed a piece of paper on the floor. It was the rich man's bill. He had forgotten {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(pay) for it!

    She ran down the stairs, out the front door, and up the road until she was out of breath, but the rich man was already far, far away.

    Campbell Remess is a teenager from Australia. He has been sewing (缝制) teddy bears for sick children for several years.

    The story{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (begin) in 2013 when Campbell was nine years old. He told his parents that he wanted to give Christmas gifts to children in hospitals. But his parents said no, because with nine children of their own, buying presents for sick children would just cost too much. The little boy didn't give up, however. He decided{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(make) their presents by himself.

    Campbell made his first teddy bear with his mother's sewing machine in his bedroom. It was hard for him as he had never done this before. He downloaded (下载) patterns from the Internet and learned how to make a teddy bear by{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(watch) videos online. It took him five hours to finish his first teddy bear. He can now make a teddy bear in an hour. He has also started a project called “Project 365 by Campbell” in which he{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(try) to make a teddy bear every day.

    Young Campbell uses his pocket money to buy materials for making teddy bears. To make more pocket money, he helps his parents with housework whenever he is free. Sometimes, he also sells his teddy bears online{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(raise) money for sick children. Many people {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (encourage) by Campbell's story and they give away free materials to him.

    Campbell{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (give) away about 1,300 teddy bears so far. He is now busy making this year's teddy bears. He said that he had never thought of stopping and he would keep putting smiles on people's faces.
