Sally is eighty-six years old. She has no sons   1 daughters. Her husband died ten years ago. But she didn't move into a nursing home. She would like to 2  herself every day.

    Every night she spends two hours  3   kids with math for twenty years. All kids living on her street can get her help without payment(报酬). She was a famous math    4  before she retired(退休) from a middle school.

    The next morning, as soon as she walked into the living room, she saw Fluffy sitting on the sofa. What a surprise! Irene ran forward and hugged her.

    An English traveller found himself in Norway with only enough money to buy the ticket for his journey back home. As he knew that it would take him only two days to get to England, he decided that he could easily spend the time without food. So he bought a ticket and got on the ship. The man closed his ears to the sound of the lunch bell. When dinner time came, he didn't go to the dining room, saying that he was not feeling very well.

    The next morning, he still didn't have breakfast and at lunch time he again stayed in his room. But at dinner time he was so hungry that he went to the dining room and ate everything the waiter put in front of him. He got ready for the quarrel(争吵).

     “Bring me the bill,” he said. “The bill, sir?” said the waiter in surprise. “There isn't any bill. On our ship meals are included(包括)in the money for the ticket,'' said the waiter.

Mount Tai is very famous in the world. Last Sunday, my parents took me there. In the morning, they woke me up early at about 5 o'clock. Because we didn't want the traffic to take up too much time. When we got there by bus.we climbed along the path at once. I felt thirsty and drank some water I could hardly walk any more after about one kilometer. My mother said. "Come on, my dear! Please look at the sights. They're very beautiful. But they look even more beautiful at the top of the mountain." Four hours later, we reached the top. From there we saw some strange shapes of large rocks. How beautiful Mount Tai is! My father said that it was wrong when I pulled a leaf off a plant. We should protect everything there. I think he is right.
