January is a great month. I only need to go to school from the first to the fifteenth. Every year, our school has an art festival. This year it is from January 13^th to January 15^th. All the students and parents can come to the festival. My mother says she can go to the festival with me, but my father can't. He is busy. All people can sing, dance and play games at the festival. After the festival, the term is over. I don't need to go to school and can have a long holiday. My parents and I want to take a trip in Sanya, Hainan. And we want to spend (度过) our Spring Festival(春节)there. We will come back to Beijing on February 15^th. I'm sure we'll enjoy it!

    It was the best plan ever. First, we would make sure she was out of the house. Then we would get all the work done. By the time she got back, it would be wonderful. So we got to work. How to get her out of the house? Well, we came up with a good idea. We told her that we needed some school things. She went out to get them.

    The first part of the plan was done. Next, we called aunts, uncles and Mum's friends to come to our house quickly and made sure there were no signs that they were there. We put all their shoes away. Then we cleaned the house and hung(悬挂)the balloons. The house really looked nice. Then we waited.

    When we heard her car driving up the porch(门廊), we became quiet. The moment the door opened, we shouted, "Surprise!" The look on her face was worth ten thousand dollars. Smiling and crying at the same time, she hugged all who were there. Lastly, she came to us. She said, "My best present of all is my two lovely daughters." And she hugged us happily.

Whether you like it or not, artificial intelligence（AI）is here to stay. It bas already been used in many different fields. And now one of them is to help find the missing children. In Hubei Province, a group of 30 students at Huazhong University of Science and Technology （HUST）arc working on a special project. They have developed an AI system that restores（修复）old photos. The clearer photos allow them to better look for missing people. 

The project was set up by Sheng Jianzhong in 2020. At the time, be was a student at HUST School. One day, be came across a missing child notice. The photos on the notice were difficult to make out. "These photos may be of no practical use even if the child is around," he said. As a result, Sheng decided to use his skills to help the missing children. And to his surprise, many of his schoolmates volunteered to join him. 

Over the past three years, the team tried to develop an AI system for restoring the photos. The team has restored more than 1, 000 photos. With the help of AI system, 11 missing children were successfully found. One success story is that of Sun Haiyang. Thanks to the AI program, in December 2021, the father, Sun Haiyang found his son after 14 years of search. 

In the future, Sheng plans to build a more excellent team to run the project. The goal is not just to further improve the technology. More importantly, he hopes to see more young people work for good causes.

B.In this lesson, students can learn how to use some home appliances, including a washing machine,  a rice cooker, a microwave oven and so on.

R.A lesson about farming will be provided on the rooftop farm in the school.You can learn how to grow potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers by yourselves!

E.The lesson is about handicrafts.Here, students will learn to make different traditional Chinese handicrafts such as paper cutting.

F.Take the lesson on cooking with us in the second teaching building of our school! You can learn to cook two or three common dishes in the two months' course.
