Learning English is not an easy job. Almost every student sometimes asks q{#blank#}1{#/blank#} like these: Can I really learn English well? Can I really learn it well e{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to talk with others?

      The answer is yes. From some studies we know that almost anyone can learn a foreign language well if he or she wants to. Some people might learn it f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} and some might learn it slower. But anyone can learn it well if he or she has the right w{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

      Many students have their own special ways to learn English. Here are some e{#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

     Han Mei gets up early every morning and the first thing she does is to l{#blank#}6{#/blank#}to an English radio program(节目). This helps her a lot.

     Lin Tao often practises speaking English not only in c{#blank#}7{#/blank#} but also after class. At first he was very nervous. After trying several times, he found it was not as d{#blank#}8{#/blank#} as he thought. Now he speaks English b{#blank#}9{#/blank#} of all the students.

      Wang Bin likes to watch American m{#blank#}10{#/blank#}. If it is a good film, he will watch it many times. And he also likes to read English aloud. 

    Now we can hardly imagine what the Jewish(犹太人) went through during World War ll. From Anne's diary, we can learn a lot.

    It was just because Anne's family were Jewish that they had to hide away for nearly twenty-five months before they were c{#blank#}1{#/blank#} by the German Nazis. At that time, Anne hadn't been able to be outdoors for so long that she had grown crazy about everything to do with n{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. For example, she once stayed a{#blank#}3{#/blank#} on purpose until half past eleven one evening in order to look at the moon by h{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.     Today, roller skating(滑旱冰) is popular and fun. And there are many {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (样式) of roller skates. However, before 1750, the idea of skating didn't exist. It was started from Joseph Merlin whose work was making musical {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (器械).

    One day, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (某人) invited Merlin to attend a music party and it was a(n) {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (愉快) for him.     On the night of the party, Merlin rolled into the room while playing the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (小提琴). Everyone was surprised to see him. There was just one problem. Merlin had no way to stop his roller skates. He rolled on and on, and all of a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (突然), he ran into a huge mirror that was hanging on the wall. As a result, the mirror fell down, breaking into pieces. Without {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (疑问), nobody forgot Merlin's entrance!
