The National Student Exchange is a study chance that allows you to take new courses, see new places, make new friends, and make new choices. You can study for a term or year at one of nearly 200 NSE member schools in the places listed below.

The program is open to students now enrolled (登记) at one of NSE's member schools. You can take part in NSE to:

   broaden (开阔) your mind

   learn from different teachers

   experience a different growth

   find new ways of study

   learn to live by yourself

   experience life from a different culture

If your school is not an NSE member, you'd better bring the program to the attention of your head teachers. NSE is open to schools in the United States and Canada. Membership information is useful at the Prospective Member site.

— Hillside School

Club 1- - Steel Pan Band 

Do you like music? Come and join the Steel Pan Band. We meet on Thursdays after lunch in the music room. Everyone is welcome.

Club 2--Baseball Cluh 

We meet after school on Mondays on the playground (操场). Please wear(穿) sports clothes and sports shoes.

Club 3--Ping-pong Club 

We meet on Fridays after lunch in the sports room. Please come here with your ping-pong bats. We have lots of ping-pong balls.

Club 4--Cookery Club 

Find out about food and make fine dinners for your friends. Come to the school kitchen(厨房) after school on Wednesdays!

Club 5-Art Club 

Do you like drawing? Come to Classroom 7A after school on Tuesdays. Bring(带来) a box of colored pencils and a notebook, please.

Club 6-Chess Club 

Can you play chess? We meet on Mondays after lunch in Classroom3E. Here you can also find some books about chess.

ROBOT SHOW

Date: November 6~November 10

Place: The Science Museum

I had great fun at the museum. Here is a photo of OceanOneK. It's a diving (潜水) robot and it can reach a depth (深度) of 1,000 meters. It can help to look for underwater wrecks (残骸) of planes and ships.

I went to the museum on the second day of the robot show. My favorite robot is KIME. It can serve food and drinks, such as coffee and salad. It has a touch screen for people to order and pay. I hope to use it one day.

My cousin and I went to the robot show together. We were very interested in ARMAR-6. It can use different kinds of tools (工具) and work together with human workers in factories. I was surprised that it can even tell people it needs help.

I stayed at the museum for three hours. I was very excited when I saw Robonaut 2 there. More than ten years ago, it became the first human-like robot to go into space. It once worked as a helper on the International Space Station.
