Asmember of our school basketball team, I am crazy about basketball and pretty good at it,  is probably why I was so mad when we lost our last match. At first, we played well, but I felt that the team (let) down by our point guide, a key player., it was like he wasn't even on the court! Disappointed by his (behave), I said all this to my best friend. I was just letting off steam really, because I was so angry, but then my best friend(work) and told everyone else I'd said. I am afraid that my teammate could get angry with me after hearing my remark.

This is so(total) awkward for me. What should I say to my teammate? Embarrassed and ashamed, I can't concentrate on anything. I would appreciateif you help me out as early as possible.

Everyone {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (complain) about being stuck in traffic. It is quite possible that the future city will have no traffic at all. H.G Wells, in his book The Sleeper Awakes, tells something about the traffic. In the streets of that future London there will be no vehicles. The city {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (provide) with moving roads. One side of the road travels {#blank#}3{#/blank#} one direction; the other side moves {#blank#}4{#/blank#} opposite way. Anyone who wants to go to another part of the city steps on the moving “way” and sits on one of the seats until he arrives. He has none of the troubles {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a private car brings with it: whether there is enough petrol, whether the tyres are all right, where to park it. The moving way is always at his service, always moving {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (silent) along, always ready {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (take) him to his destination. That city of the future has no traffic jams.

To link up the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (vary) cities, vehicles driven by atomic power will pass along highways {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (divide) into two main groups of lanes. Each group will consist of several lanes, some for slow traffic, some for fast. Crossroads will not exist on these highways, but will be replaced by bridges and junctions(交叉口). Where these highways enter {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (city), ports and other built-up areas, they will pass through underground tunnels.

Newton made important contributions to every area of the scientific and mathematical concept to his generation. Born in {#blank#}1{#/blank#} rural English village on Christmas Day, 1642, he was so small that no one thought he would survive. During his childhood he spent much of his time inventing and building toys, and did not do particularly {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (good) at school. So his mother, who was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (will) to pay for his education, brought him home to look after the sheep. However, he was always so busy {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (build) small devices that the sheep would often escape. Eventually his uncle persuaded his mother {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (send) him to the University of Cambridge, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} he became so absorbed in his studies that he often forgot to eat or sleep.

When Cambridge was closed for two years due to the plague(鼠疫), Newton went home to work on his studies. He {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (bury) himself in mathematics and began developing a mathematical theory that would later become calculus(微积分). It is a popular belief {#blank#}8{#/blank#} on one occasion he was sitting under an apple tree {#blank#}9{#/blank#} an apple fell on his head, which helped him to understand the laws of gravity. It is now thought that perhaps he invented this story in later field to explain how he drew his {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (inspire) from everyday events.
