    Last term, I hosted an exchange student calling Jacob from the Great Britain to our school. He really cares for Chinese Culture. Jacob asked me to show himself around the city on weekends. I took him to many local place of interest and we also go to the theater to watch a show of Peking Opera. He was so attracted by the performance as he decided to learn it. My father happened to know a master of Peking Opera and introduced Jacob to him. Jacob was great honored to be one of his students. Put his heart into it, Jacob made a rapid progress.     On a snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what was worse, the bus ran out gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait. A man lived nearby saw what had happened. He and some villagers managed to open the door and helped all of them out of a bus. Then he took us to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in his home and help came final. All of them are thankful to him for what he did.

    Last Saturday, our school had organized an activity to visit the children at a local orphanage. As one of the volunteer, I took part in it. We took many books as well many kinds of school supplies and toys to the children. They were delighting to receive the gifts. In the morning, we played some games with them where we used to play in our childhood. Then we cooked and had lunch here. In the afternoon, we gave them some performances. Before leaving the orphanage, we had photos take with them and gave them our contact details so that they could keep in touch with one another. Each of us had the happy time. We gave the children our care and help, but in return, they gave us their smiles and love.
