English ─ speaking people say many “thank you” every day. Early in the morning when a teacher  asks a student，“Good morning. How are you?”,  his answer should be.“ I'm fine, thank you. And you?" This is the first "thank you" of a day.

    When you hear “Your skirt is nice.” you say, “Thank you. I'm happy you like it.” At your birthday party, when people give you something and say “This is for you. Happy birthday!”，you also answer, “Thank you."

    When your friend helps you clean the classroom after school, you say “thank you" to him.

    When you hear people say to you "Your English is very good. how do you answer it?

    In England, traffic keeps on the left. Cars, buses and bikes all move on the left side of the road. But the traffic keeps on the right in China. So when you are in England, you must be very careful in the street. Before you cross a street you must stop and look both ways. Look right and look left and look right again. If the traffic lights are red, the traffic must stop. Then the people on foot can cross the road. If the traffic lights are green, the traffic can go. People on foot mustn't cross.

    In the morning and in the evening, when people go to or come back from work, the streets are very busy. Traffic is very dangerous (危险的).

    When you go by bus in England, you have to be careful, too. Always remember(记住)the traffic moves on the left. If you don't have a look first, you will go the wrong way.

    In many English cities, there are big buses with two floors. You can sit on the second floor. From there you can see the city very well. It's very interesting.

    In Canada you can find dogs, cats, horses, etc. in almost every family. These are their pets. People love these pets and have them as their good friends. Before they keep them in their houses, they take them to animal hospitals to give an injection(打针) so that they won't carry diseases. They have special animal food stores though they can get animal food in almost every store. Some people spend about two hundred Canadian dollars a month on animal food. When you visit people's home, they would be very glad to show you their pets and they are very proud of them. You will also find that almost every family has a bird feeder in their garden. All kinds of birds are welcomed to come and have a good meal.

    They are free to come and go and nobody is allowed(允许) to kill any animal in Canada.
