Long ago, people lived on wild animals, fruits and other plants and they didn't need to use money.
As time passed, families had more products(产品) than they needed, such as animals and crops. So they needed to trade(交易) with others. They began to use money to make it easier. However, it was not like the money we use today. They used shells, rice, salt or large stones.
During the 600s BC, people began using coins as money. Because they were easier to carry than goods(货物), countries began to make coins as their money.

The Chinese were the first to use paper money, probably in the 11th century. An Italian traveler, Marco Polo, saw the Chinese use paper money when he visited China in the 1200s. After his travel, he told the western people what he saw. But European countries didn't start using paper money till the1600s.
Today we have many ways to pay for things, such as coins, paper money and cards. Some prefer to pay by card. That's because paying with a card is easier and safer than carrying around a lot of “real” money.

    Australia is the greatest island in the world. It is to the south of the equator. So when it is summer in our country, it is cold winter in Australia.

    Huafu includes the traditional clothing of all ethnic (民族的) groups in China. Among them, hanfu, the traditional clothing of the Han ethnic group, has the most fans in recent years. Hanfu is the traditional clothing of the Han people who lived in China before the Qing Dynasty. It has been around for about 3,000 years and changed greatly across different dynasties. It is hard to count the number of people who wear hanfu today. But hanfu clubs may be found almost in every university and city. Many young people wear hanfu to look like characters from comics and games. This really brings us back to the ancient fashion.

    "China is becoming a leading power in the world, and the Chinese feel more confident about its traditional culture," Chen Chuyu, leader of a Beijing-based hanfu institution (学院), told People's Daily Online. "Wearing traditional clothing might be an interesting way of showing how they feel about this."

    Nowadays, lots of foreigners are learning Chinese. Like many of them, I 1 knew two words of Chinese ("Ni Hao" and "Xie Xie") when I first came to Beijing, China in 2009.     We know that the traffic jam(堵塞)happens in many places, especially in big cities. What are reasons for the problem? On one hand, some people think that they should have a car when they have enough money, and then it's easy to go out and they can feel comfortable. On the other hand, a growing number of people hope to use their cars to show off (炫耀). What's more, years of research has shown that one of other reasons for the traffic jam is the driving habit. For example, many young people enjoy driving very fast, so they can feel excited. At last, most of them hardly care about the speed rules.

    Many governments are working at how to make the traffic better. In my opinion, firstly, the governments should educate those people who have cars or plan to buy cars. The governments must make them know that the traffic jam is very serious, and set up a much more perfect traffic system (体系)to solve the traffic pressure.
