Teresa is a 25-year-old girl who works at a bank. She sometimes  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} （想念） her happy time at school. 

My First Day 

I'll never forget my first day at primary school. I got to school early but I still felt really  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} （紧张的）. Luckily，a girl was kind enough to  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} （邀请） me to sit next to her. We were all together and the head teacher with thick  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} （眼镜） welcomed us. He looked so kind that {#blank#}5{#/blank#} （没有一人） of us felt afraid of him. 

My First Teacher 

I remember her name is Mrs Simpson. Her voice sounded really sweet. Moreover，she was more  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} （幽默的） than any other teacher in our school.  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} （也许） she was my dream teacher at that time. 

Sports Day 

Sports Day was the best day of the year!I used. to take exercise with my friends after school. My {#blank#}8{#/blank#} （业余爱好） is running，so I took an  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} （积极的） part in the running race and I won he third prize!But I haven't won a better prize {#blank#}10{#/blank#} （还、尚）. 

A man came home from work and found his three children outside. They were still in their pajamas (睡衣) , playing in the mud (泥) . Toys were lying all over the garden. The front door{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the house was wide open. 

Walking in the door, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp was upside down on the table. In the living room, the TV was turned up loud. There were toys and clothes all over the place. In the kitchen, there was a{#blank#}2{#/blank#} glass under the table and dishes filled the sink (水槽) . Breakfast food was still on the dining table. The fridge door was open. In the bathroom, the bathtub (浴缸) was full of water. Soap and toilet paper were on the floor. Toothpaste was all over the mirror and walls. 

He quickly went upstairs, looking for his wife. He was worried that she was sick{#blank#}3{#/blank#}that something bad happened. 

As he ran into the bedroom, he found his wife in bed. Still in her pajamas, she was reading anovel. She looked up at him,{#blank#}4{#/blank#} and asked how his day went. He looked at her and asked, "What happened here today?"

She smiled{#blank#}5{#/blank#}and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work, you ask me what in the world I do all day?"

"Yes,"he replied. 

She answered, "Well, today I didn't do anything."

Just like other students, I'll never forget my school-leavers' party. I was studying at an{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(国际) school. And just before our junior high school {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(教育) ended, we held an unforgettable party. 

We i{#blank#}3{#/blank#} to make the hall look nice so we decorated(装饰) the hall from ceiling to floor with paper flowers and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(气球). There were flags from all over the world h{#blank#}5{#/blank#} on the walls. The African students {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(领导) us all in with the wonderful drumming — you could hear a strong b{#blank#}7{#/blank#} from far away. 

There was some food from six different countries on the menu, such as dumplings and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(薄烤饼). And the menu was made in English. We all raised our glasses and said, "Cheers, everyone! Let's w{#blank#}9{#/blank#} each of us success for the future. " We enjoyed o{#blank#}10{#/blank#} at the party. What an unforgettable memory!

Nadia Comaneci, a famous gymnast(体操运动员), was born in Romania in 1961. 

When she was doing cartwheels(侧手翻) on the playground at the age of 7, a PE teacher saw her. He told her family that she was very good and advised Nadia to train in the capital of Romania. Although it was a long way from her home, Nadia went because she loved gymnastics. 

After that, she trained hard and took part in lots of competitions. Later, she was named as one of the Athletes of the 20th Century. 

In 1976, Nadia went to the Olympics in Canada. She was so fantastic in the competition that everyone waited for the score, a high score. But the scoreboard showed 1. 00!

Everyone was surprised. There wasn't a sound for a moment. Then a voice came, " Ladies and gentlemen, Nadia Comaneci. . . 10!"

The audience(观众) cheered very loudly. So what happened? Well, when the scoreboard was built, no one thought a score of 10. 00 was possible. The decimal point(小数点) was in the wrong place! In fact, the scoreboard only had three digits(数位) to show scores, such as 9. 50 or 9. 85 at that time. 

In the 1976 Summer Olympics, Nadia Comaneci scored a perfect 10, which was thought impossible before. From then on, she was looked as a hero. In 1984, she got retired(退休的). 

"Hey, everyone, listen!" Mr. Lee said with a big smile, but he sounded serious as he started our1 class. "I' ve got a fun job for you. Every class, I' ll hide(隐藏)a 2 . Your job is to find it! Sounds cool, right?"

We were happy to turn geography into a game. Learning about places and maps is 3 , but this made it exciting. 

For weeks, we listened very carefully to every word Mr. Lee said, trying to catch 4 ina lie(谎言). We took notes and studied them with our classmates, 5 clues(线索). 

But Mr. Lee was smart. He made everything sound real, and if we didn't find the lie, he'd just laugh and say, "Keep 6 , everybody! You' ll get it. And I' ll tell you at the end of the term. "

This made us 7 geography even more. We talked about it after class, sharing ideas and thinking about what might be the lie. Everyone enjoyed it. 

Then, the last Monday of the8 came. We were ready to hear Mr. Lee' s lie. After finishing the lesson, he said, "Remember the lie I hid? Well, here's the result: Everything that I taught you is 9 . In fact, there wasn't a lie! But the real lesson is to10 think deeply about what you learn. "

We were11 about the result as we never thought about it. We' d been tricked(戏弄) into learning, but it was the 12 trick ever! We thanked Mr. Lee for making geography lessons so13 and unforgettable. 

14 I don't remember much of the geography now, I still remember the lesson Mr. Lee taught us: always ask questions and think deeply. It's a meaningful 15 that will stay with me.
