浙江省湖州市吴兴区2019-2020学年七年级上学期英语期末考试试卷(含听力材料)
Dear Joe,
This is a picture of my family. That's me on the right, standing. As you can see, I have a big family. There's my mother, my father and my two brothers: Paul - he has a ball, and Robert — he has a football shirt on. Then these are my sisters: the big one is Jane, and she is at university in America now. My sister Kelly is next to her, and she is twelve.
My parents each have a sister and a brother. My four aunts and uncles are on the left. I have grandparents, too: My grandmothers and grandfathers are sitting in the front.
How many people are there in your family?
Love,
Charlie

Education—Will you achieve the educational goals after finishing high-school? Are you still growing and learning? Family—What kind of relationship(关系)do you want with your parents and other family members? Creative—Do you want to achieve any artistic goals? | Career—What job do you want to take when you grow up? What do you need to make your dream come true? Public Service—Do you want to make the world a better place? Physical—Are you fit enough to do the things you want to do? Pleasure—How do you want to enjoy yourself? |
Write down the goals and think about them carefully. Are they realistic? When will you be able to achieve them?
To help make the process (过程) more manageable, divide your goals into smaller tasks. For example, if you want to reach a main goal in five years, set a three-year goal, a one-year goal, a three-month goal and a one-month goal. Then create a daily To-Do List of things that you should do today. When a goal is achieved, take the time to enjoy your success. This helps you build the self-confidence.
Remember, your goals can change as time goes on. But be sure your goals are things you hope to achieve, not what your parents, family or teachers want.
Many young people would like to go to west China to help children to study. One of them, Lu Yi, was a university student. One day, when she went to a small village in Guizhou, she saw the poor children herself. She felt sad. She thought she should do something for them. So she decided to stay there and to be their teacher. Money is the biggest problem for her. But she didn't give up. She worked hard and her students like her very much. After graduation(毕业), she went back to that village at once and she worked as a volunteer teacher for five years. She worked hard and her students liked her very much. When the journalist at the CCTV Station interviewed her, she said she liked being a good influence(影响). She said she hoped to change the poor children's lives. She enjoyed the time as a volunteer very much. She would try her best to help the poor children.
