A man was walking in the countryside. When he saw some elephants, he stopped. He wondered how the trainer(训练员) could hold these 1 animals only by a small rope(绳子). The elephants could 2 the rope anytime they wanted, but they did not.

Before the Shenzhou XV crew（全体工作人员） came back to the earth，they {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a letter to a 16-year-old student named Tsering Dargye. He is from Tibet and studying at Beijing No. 80 High School now. Over 10，000 people sent {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to the crew，but Tsering was the{#blank#}3{#/blank#} one to get an answer back. "I was very{#blank#}4{#/blank#} and was lucky enough to get the letter，"he said. 

In his letter，Tsering showed his strong interest in the sky. The astronaut Fei Junlong wrote the letter to Tsering and encouraged（鼓励） him a lot. "As you wrote in your letter，the road to success is never smooth（平坦的）.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} long as you work hard，you can {#blank#}6{#/blank#} your dreams come true，" Fei wrote. He ended the letter by wishing Tsering and his classmates to be{#blank#}7{#/blank#} in their studies. 

Tsering is now studying hard and plans to spend more time{#blank#}8{#/blank#} his studies for the coming summer vacation. "My dream is to learn computer science at Tsinghua University. No matter {#blank#}9{#/blank#} happens in my life，I will believe in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} and keep on following my dreams，" he said.

Bayika Kalidibek is 72 years old and he lives in Xinjiang. In 1972, he took over his father's position and worked as a border patrolman (护边员).

Being a border patrolman is hard. The border area has high mountains and difficult roads. Bayika got hurt (受伤) many times during patrols. He faced many problems, but he never gave up. He said, "Protecting the border is a job for all of us, not just the country's."

In 2004, his son Laqini started to work as a border patrolman. Unluckily, he gave up his life when he saved (拯救) a boy from a cold river in 

2021. He was only 41 at that time. "I'm really sad, but I'm proud (自豪的) of him," Bayika said. "Our family has protected the border for more than 70 years. We will pass down our family's tradition from one generation (一代人) to the next."

Bayika's story is touching. We should learn from the old man.
