①Do you often have questions in daily life? What do you probably want to do if you have a question? I'm sure you may want to get a quick answer on the Internet. But how can you make it? Now some technology companies are working to make this come true by developing chatbots. They are computer programs that can communicate with people by phone, on messaging apps or on websites.

②Chatbots can look up information, answer questions often asked and collect information from users. They can also be used for online shopping to help people choose things that they really need and then decide what to buy.

③There are two kinds of chatbots: closed chatbots and open chatbots. A closed chatbot may or may not use AI (人工智能) to understand messages from users. An open chatbot uses AI both to know what people want and to create a reply. Open chatbots are able to learn from their conversations and then improve their ability to communicate over time. This means that open chatbots can answer a wider range (范围) of questions compared with closed chatbots. Chatbots have many important advantages. One of them is that chatbots are available (可用的) all the time, even at midnight. What's more, one chatbot can serve a large number of users at once. This means that people can get answers quickly instead of waiting for the reply of a human agent(代理人).

④However, chatbots can't take the place of human agents now. Someone has to program the chatbots at the beginning and train them. Sometimes, open chatbots can't give answers to certain questions. Besides, quite a few people like speaking to a human better, not a chatbot.

When do children start to talk? If you ask a group of parents when this happened, most will say "around 12 months of age". They will probably, even remember what the children said. Many parents keep a diary of their child's "first words".

We can never predict(预测) what a first word is going to be. Often it's the name for "mummy" or "daddy", but it could just as easily be the word for an animal or a favourite toy. Everything depends on what has most caught the child's attention. But one thing is certain: after the first word, others come quickly. By 18 months, most children have learnt about 50 words. By two, the total has risen to around 200.

Early words are actually one-word sentences. One of the first features (特征) of language a child learns well is to control the rise and fall of the voice to make the difference between saying and questioning. In English, daddy with a high rising tone(声调) means "Is that daddy?" Daddy with a high falling tone means "There's daddy." Of course, only very basic meanings can be communicated using tones alone. So it soon becomes necessary to learn some grammar.

In English, grammar means learning to put words in different orders. Children have to see that mummy push is different from push mummy. They start practising such changes at around 18 months. By two, they have learnt the basic forms of word order, and we hear them saying such things as man kick ball and where daddy go.

What are the parents doing all this time? They're acting as teachers and they always have an active role to play in their child's language learning.

Young people often feel unhappy when they are with their parents. They say that their parents don't{#blank#}1{#/blank#} them. They often think their parents are strict with them.

Parents often find {#blank#}2{#/blank#} difficult to win their children's trust and they seem to forget how they felt when they were young.{#blank#}3{#/blank#} example, young people like to do things without much thinking. Older people are worried about things more easily, they need to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} things from many ways. So most of them plan things {#blank#}5{#/blank#} and don't like their plans to be changed.

Young people often make their parents angry by clothes they want to {#blank#}6{#/blank#}, the music they enjoy and something else, they don't really want to make trouble. They feel that in this{#blank#}7{#/blank#} they can be away from the old people's world. They want to make a new culture of their own. But if their parents don't like their {#blank#}8{#/blank#} or clothes, the young people will feel very unhappy.

Sometimes instead of going out with their parents, they {#blank#}9{#/blank#} want to stay at home alone and do what they like.

{#blank#}10{#/blank#} you plan to manage an independent life, you'd better win your parents' trust and try to get them to understand you. If your parents see that you have a high sense of responsibility (责任感) , they will certainly give you chances to do what you want to do.

People living in the Yangtze River Delta (长江三角洲){#blank#}5{#/blank#}(usual) put qingtu- an in front of the tombs (墓) of their dead family members to remember {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(they). Making qingtuan is also a chance for family members to get together. 

Recently (近来), qingtuan has become popular in {#blank#}7{#/blank#} north of China. Young people are learning how to make qingtuan by watching video online nowadays. Qingtuan has many dif- ferent tastes (口味) inside it, such as apples and bean milk,{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(meet) people's tastes. The difference of the tastes shows that it's getting more and more popular across the whole country. 

There is warm weather and green{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(leaf) in spring,{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the season wouldn't be perfect (完美) without a taste of qingtuan.
