Have you ever seen the TV show Where Are We Going, Dad? It is now without doubt {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (popular) TV show in China, attracting over 600 million viewers each week. In this program, several fathers, who are all well-known in China, take care of their kids alone {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the help of the children's mothers. They also take part in different kinds of {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (active) with their kids together, such as cooking, fishing and selling goods.

    One reason why the show is so popular is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} it reflects social reality. In big cities, fathers are always {#blank#}5{#/blank#} busy with their jobs to spare time for their kids. Meanwhile, large numbers of fathers from the countryside {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (come) to big cities over the years, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (leave) their kids at home under the grandparents' care. Xu Canyong, a 33-year-old man {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (employ) in a company in Shantou, Guangdong Province, said, “I have a son and a daughter in my hometown. I miss them very much.”

    Xie Dikui, the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (direct) of the show, said that he was also moved by the program. “{#blank#}10{#/blank#} these fathers are busy, they manage to spare time for their kids. We can do as well as them.”

    Mr. Johnson lived in the woods with his wife and children. He owned{#blank#}1{#/blank#} farm, which looked almost abandoned. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (lucky), he also had a cow which produced milk every day. He sold or exchanged some of the milk in the towns nearly{#blank#}3{#/blank#} other food and made cheese and butter for the family with what{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (leave). The cow was their only means of support, in fact. One day, the cow was eating grass{#blank#}5{#/blank#} it began to rain heavily. While making great efforts to run away, she{#blank#}6{#/blank#} (fall) over the hill and died. Then the Johnson tried to make a living{#blank#}7{#/blank#} the cow. In order to support his family, Mr. Johnson began to plant herbs and vegetables. Since the plants took a while to grow, he started cutting down trees{#blank#}8{#/blank#}  (sell) the wood. Thinking about his children's clothes, he started growing cotton too. When harvest came around, he was already selling herbs, vegetables and cotton in the market{#blank#}9{#/blank#} people from the town met regularly. Now it occurred to{#blank#}10{#/blank#} that his farm had much potential and that the death of the cow was a bit of luck.

    “Born in China”,{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (direct) by accomplished Chinese filmmaker Lu Chuan, is a co-production of Disneynature and Shanghai Media Group. Disneynature is partnering with World Wildlife Fund and donating a percentage of ticket sales {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  (help) protect pandas and snow leopards in China.

    The party began shortly after nine. Mr. Wood, who lived in the flat below, sighed to himself as he heard {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (excite) voices and the noisy music. Luckily, he had brought some work home from the office, with {#blank#}2{#/blank#} he kept himself busy for a couple of hours, thus managing to pay no attention {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the noise overhead.     He jumped out of bed, put on some clothing, marched firmly up the stairs, and walked into his neighbor's apartment. The owner of the apartment came across the room and, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Mr. Wood could say anything, cried, “My dear fellow, come and join us. I know our parties would trouble you. I meant to send you an invitation.” Mr. Wood's anger disappeared then and there. He said, “I'd better go and get changed.” Minutes later, he returned, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (proper) dressed, only to find that the party was nearly over.

    Greenkayak believes that kayaks are highly effective at collecting waste because they can get close to areas that are otherwise hard {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(reach).

    "In Denmark, people love to hang out on canals, but {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(fortunate) they see waste {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (float) by." one of Greenkayak's co-founders speaks of the program's origin. "You can't take your shirt off and jump in. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you can get in a Greenkayak and make a difference."
