Therefore, I think it is really a waste of money for you to buy famous brands. Besides, it will also add the burden of your parents.

    What's more, beauty is only skin-deep. There are many things in which can make you popular beside fashion. A great amount of knowledge and a warm heart will surely win others' respect.

    The teenage year from 13 to 19 were the most difficult time for me. They were also the best and worse years in my life. The English Corner in Zhongshan Park are where people go to practise their speaking English. Every Sunday afternoon they gather around, talk to each other in English. Among they are students, teachers, doctors, and so on. I first went to an English Corner when I was in Junior Grade Two. I went there on every Sunday and chat with some people in English. In the past three years I had never been absent. I'm sure I've made some progresses in my listening and speaking. And I have made many friends there. The English Corner is really good place. I hope that more friends will join in us.

    As the saying goes, chances favored the prepared mind. I learned this from one of my experience.

    I was not chosen as member of the volleyball team of our school. Because of this, I decided to give up play volleyball. Luckily, my best friend stopped me but pointed out that it was my laziness and poor preparation which led to my failure. After that, I practiced playing volleyball on every day. When another tryout arrived, I was full prepared and tried my best. As a result, I was selected and became an important player on our school team.

    From this, I am firmly convincing that, no matter when chances arrive, we were able to seize them as long as we get well prepared.

Tomorrow, we will go to the homeless shelter in our town where the homeless can have meal and sleep. We will cook meals for who is staying there.     I seldom have the chance to talk native English speakers, even though I have learned English for many years. Last year my school has a cultural exchange program and there were some foreign students came to study in my school. I was lucky to become the foreign student's partner. My job was to help him solve daily problem. At first, I was much nervous that I couldn't speak very fluent when we talked in English. However, my partner encouraged me or listened patiently. As we communicated more, he taught me some interesting idioms, which made me to sound like a native speaker. How a valuable experience!
