    Teachers help us to become good students. So we need to say thanks to them for all their hard work. Chinese students have a Teachers' Day on September 10.But how do American students thank their teachers?

    First of all, American schools have a whole week in May to appreciate(感激)their teachers! Teacher Appreciation Day is on the Tuesday of that week.

    The school hosts parties with gifts and snacks that week. There are also signs everywhere to show their love for teachers.

    Starting high school is a great experience for any teenager.     The salmon (大马哈鱼) is a very strange fish. It is born in a river. But the young salmon takes two years to swim down the rivers towards the Pacific Ocean. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Then it returns to the river where it was born. Almost the whole body of a salmon is made of muscles. It is these powerful muscles that make the salmon fit for fast swimming, quick turning, and high leaping out of the water.
