Sitienei, a 90-year-old Kenyan grandmother, has become the world's 1 primary school student. She is studying at the local primary school to learn to read and write. She is from a small 2 in Kenyan. She has spent most of her life 3 as a midwife(接生婆), helping women to give birth to babies. She wants to pass on her midwife skills to the young. She said she didn't have a chance to go to school when she was 4. So she wants all the children in her village to 5.

    The head teacher at the school said, "I'm proud 6 her. All pupils loved her. They all want to learn and play with 7 ." He also said, "She is doing well in thinking her skills. I can say I have seen a big difference in this school 8she came here."

Sitienei often said, "I want to tell children, 9 girls in poor areas, that 10 will be your wealth（财富）." She added, "With education, you can be whatever you want to be — a doctor, a teacher, a scientist, and so on."

 Welcome to my new school! It is beautiful with many buildings in it. My classroom is not big but special. It is d{#blank#}1{#/blank#} from other classrooms. There are some desks but no chairs in it. So we can only s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} on some colourful big balls when having lessons. In f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} of the classroom building is the science building. It's my favourite place because I can have science lessons there. Next to the science building is a bigl{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. There are many kinds of books in it. In the center of the school is a big playground. Students o{#blank#}5{#/blank#} play basketball there after school. I really love my school!

Mr. Smith made a robot, but he could only say one sentence. That is "You are quite right." The robot always said the same words when someone spoke to him.

One day, Mr. Smith needed lots of money, so he took the robot to the market to sell him. There were many people in the market. "Who will buy my robot? He is very smart," he shouted (叫喊). "Nine hundred dollars for my robot!"

A man was surprised that he was asking for so much money. "Is it different?" he thought. Then he spoke to the robot, "Are you worth (值得) nine hundred dollars?" "You are quite right," answered the robot.

The man liked the robot's answer so much, and he bought him and took him home. But soon he found that the robot couldn't say anything. He was sorry he bought the robot. He stood in front of the robot and said, "How foolish (愚蠢的) I was to spend so much money on you!" "You are quite right," said the robot.

It's always a good thing to have a hobby. For Miss Patty, a school bus driver in Erie County, her hobby of knitting (编织) has made her really touch the community (社区). 

Miss Patty always wanted to do something with her free time to help the students. After a talk with one of the students, things took a turn from knitting one hat to knitting more hats. 

"The one boy gets on the bus, and he asks 'what are you doing?', I said, ‘I'm making a hat. 'He said, 'That would be great fun having such a warm hat in icy winter. 'So I said, 'What color would you like? That started everything, " Miss Patty told the local newspaper. 

Miss Patty has already knitted 7, 083 hats for students in her free time. Sometimes she will get the student's favourite color before she begins the project. 

What is more moving is that Miss Patty buys all the materials (材料) using her own money. Some people do give her gift cards around the holidays to help, but she still puts out a lot of her own money. 

Along with making hats for the students that will keep them warm, Miss Patty also gets praise (表扬) for being a trusted (可信的) friend to the students.
