I'm Mrs Green. This summer holiday, I went to London with my husband and our son Sam. We first spent four days visiting some famous places, such as the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. On the fifth day, I was a bit tired and just wanted to stay at the hotel. But Sam didn't want to. He would like to visit the HMS Belfast, a famous warship(战舰)that joined the Second World War(战争). It is on the River Thames as a museum for people to visit now. It is very famous and Sam read about it in a magazine. Well, boys always love these things, so I promised to go with him. 

We took the underground and it took us about twenty minutes to get to the River Thames from our hotel. After walking another ten minutes we finally saw the HMS Belfast. An adult ticket was £ 24. 5 and my husband bought two. Sam was only 13 years old, so his ticket was half price. The HMS Belfast was really large. Sam was interested in everything on it and took lots of photos. He said it was his favourite place on his trip to London. 

I'm a teacup at an antique (古董) store. With the pretty look and strong body, I'm 1 . Many people want to buy me. 

2 , I haven't always been a teacup. Once I was just a piece of 3 . A man took me and rolled (翻滚) me over and over. I said, "Don't do that. I dislike it!"

But he only said with a smile, "Not yet!" Then, WHAM! I was put on a machine and turned around and around. " 4 it! I'm feeling sick," I shouted. But the man still said, "Not yet."

Later the man put me in the oven. I never felt such 5 . When I thought I couldn't 6 it another minute, the door opened. The man carefully took me out and put me on a shelf (架子), and I 7 to cool. Oh, that felt so good! After I cooled, he started brushing me. The paint smelled so terrible that I asked him to give up. He only shook his head and said, "Not yet!" An hour later he handed me a 8 and said, "Look at yourself." I did that, and I was greatly 9 . "That's not me! It's so beautiful!" I shouted. 

"The process was 10 , but if I hadn't done that, you would never meet the best of you. Now you're not common clay, but a great product," the man said.

I go for long runs and bike rides beside the beach. An hour of exercise after a long day of writing gives me energy. Then I'm ready to write some more.

At first I write the stories by hand, and then I transfer (转录）them onto a computer. I like to write by hand when I travel. I find it very easy to lose myself in my diary when I am away from my usual activities.

I'm never happier than I'm thinking banana milk shakes. And I love fish. But I don't like drinking fish milk shakes. They are just terrible !

What is your favorite book ?

Alice in Wonderland. It has so many surprises and such silliness in it.

As Dr. Seuss says, "The more you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go."

The story was a true one and still moved me deeply. Thirty years ago, I got to know a 1 lady named Rose. She had no kids and lived alone. When I went to visit her, I always took Rose some coffee and food. One day she said she wanted to 2 me to have lunch. 

We walked from my workplace to a little restaurant on David Street. On the way, I began to worry. I knew that she had no money, but if I offered to  3 the lunch, I was afraid I would hurt her. 

There were many people in the restaurant, and all of them were happy. Rose told me to sit and drink coffee by the window. Then she went to 4 in the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, she came out and sat with me. She just paid for one meal and we started to 5 the delicious food together. She told me that the restaurant let people work for a meal if they had no money, or would give them a free meal if they were not able to work. To my surprise, she also explained that the workers who were working there were all volunteers. 

I 6 remember the beautiful afternoon I shared with Rose. Though we had a meal together only once, it was paid by Rose's work. The weather was warm and bright, and everyone's smile was warm and bright too. 

I'm still thinking that life cannot be easy to us, but we can still do something for our friends and neighbors. The world will be nicer if everybody would like to share happiness with others. 

It will never be dark if there is a light in everyone's heart. 

"Dear stranger, I'm inviting you to hear my goals I've never shared with anyone before. I would like to be active. I want to achieve ..."

This message {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(write) on a sanitary bag of a high-speed train by a college girl. The next day, a passenger in the same seat discovered the message. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} passenger posted it online with a reply, "How {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(luck) we are to meet across time and space! I hope you can do well in the interview (面试). I wish you all the best." This communication {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (catch) people's attention and touched their hearts. 

Under the post, people shared their views, and many college students also expressed their {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (feel) about school interviews. Later, the college girl {#blank#}6{#/blank#} left the message on the sanitary bag read the post and shared why she did it. She wrote her thoughts on the bag {#blank#}7{#/blank#} she was nervous on her way to an important school interview. The good thing is that she has been admitted (录取) to her dream school. And she thanked the stranger for his encouragement {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(polite) and hoped other students could go to their dream schools, too. "If the sanitary bags {#blank#}9{#/blank#} messages are intact (完好无损的) and clean, we won't replace them." said one of the staff, "We hope these special notes on sanitary bags can brighten {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (passenger) journeys."
