         With the development of people's living condition, more and morepeople possess their own cars. Some of us think it is good to own a car. Forinstance, it's convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation. Moreover, it shows that people are becoming richer and the country is much morestronger. It also made relative businesses and industries develop faster.

       However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars giveup waste gases and pollute the environment around. Too much cars will have somebad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lack parking lotsis another big problem.

As far as I'm concerned, we ought to think careful before buyingcars. As if we have cars, we may use it less.

    Last Friday, our school organized us to a fire station, what we had expected for several day. When we got there, the fire-fighters welcomed us but led us into an exhibition hall. There one of them delivered the lecture on fire control to us. After that, they show us how to operate a fire extinguisher, and even gave our chances to practise using it. Now, I dare say I can use it skillful! On our way home, we couldn't help to talking about what we had experienced. We felt very happy and excited because we had gained so many knowledge about fire control and known what to do an emergency.

    Last month, my classmate, John, caught bad cold. The news which he was running a high fever and ordinary medicine hadn't worked on him immediate reached everybody in our class. Some recorded the English lessons for him so that he could keep up on his studies. Our English teacher calls on him at weekends. Our classmates were offered John help partly because he had always been a warm-heart boy. So I realise that when we help others, we are helping us.

    My classmates Han Mei and I went to the Palace Museum by taxi on last Saturday. On arrival, I reached for my mobile phone, and I couldn't find it anywhere. Han Mei thought I should have left it in the taxi. Immediately she dialed my number and a taxi driver answered it. He said my mobile phone had left on the back seat of his car and he would drive back to return them. Twenty minutes later, while the driver handed me the phone, I was too grateful that I offered him an extra fee. But he refused with a smile, say that he was very pleased to have helped me.
