Emma is very busy in the moming. She gets up at half past five. After brushing her teeth, she {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. She usually does sports for thirty minutes. Next, she helps to make breakfast. After breakfast she{#blank#}4{#/blank#} her room. Then she goes to school. Emma usually{#blank#}5{#/blank#}to school. She says walking is good for her.

    On New Year's Eve, people in Italy throw out all the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} things. So there are chairs, beds, clothes and plates {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the streets. In Spain, the New Year {#blank#}3{#/blank#} more quietly. In the evening people go together to the streets. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} holds a bag {#blank#}5{#/blank#} grapes. When the clock strikes {#blank#}6{#/blank#}, people start {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the grapes.

    In Japan, people eat noodles on New Year's Eve. This {#blank#}8{#/blank#} is said to bring long life. Early in the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} morning, some families climb Mount Fuji(富士山). There they {#blank#}10{#/blank#} the first sunrise of the New Year.

   There are about 5, 000 different kinds of ladybugs(瓢虫) in the world. They come in many different colours. Their bright colours warn other animals or insects not to eat them. Ladybugs{#blank#}1{#/blank#}bad. A bird or a frog that eats a ladybug will remember the bright colours and it will not eat another ladybug with the same{#blank#}2{#/blank#}again. When ladybugs are{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, they will give out a fluid( 液体) that tastes terrible.

   In many cultures, the ladybug is considered to be a symbol of good luck. Most ladybugs are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to humans. They eat other insects which destroy crops. One ladybug can eat up to 5,000 insects in its lifetime.
