Graduation is coming! Many students are leaving school. What are they taking with them? A lot of things for sure, but the most important thing is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.
    We asked some teachers to give us the last lesson. The lesson is proverbs about friends. Older people{#blank#}2{#/blank#}  teach proverbs to younger people. Every culture has proverbs. They are short and easy to {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.
    There is a German proverb which says, “Friendship is a plant we must {#blank#}4{#/blank#} ." It means that we need to take care of friends{#blank#}5{#/blank#}  taking care of a garden. “Only your real friends will tell you when your face is dirty." is {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  proverb from Japan. It means that only {#blank#}7{#/blank#}friends tell you when you are making a {#blank#}8{#/blank#} .
    My grandfather told me, “Nobody is so {#blank#}9{#/blank#} that he can throw away a friend.”Everyone {#blank#}10{#/blank#} friends. Be good to them.

    What was I like when I was young? My mom said l was lovely．I was{#blank#}1{#/blank#}in everything．I liked oil{#blank#}2{#/blank#}．I liked riding a horse．I liked{#blank#}3{#/blank#}a cow．I liked helping{#blank#}4{#/blank#}vegetables on the farm．I also liked shopping．At the supermarket I didn't buy{#blank#}5{#/blank#}cheap．I was only interested in expensive things．Haha，I was a funny boy when I was young，wasn't I ?

    Maupassant(莫泊桑) was one of the well-known writers of short {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in the nineteenth century in France. His novels made readers {#blank#}2{#/blank#} excited and enjoyable.

    During his school days, he decided to become a writer. Then he began to write something. Because of the Franco-Prussian War(普法战争), he had to stop {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.After the war, he went to Paris to look for a job, where he met some great writers and learned a lot from them.

    Working as a clerk(职员), Maupassant was too busy and he had no time to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} more material(素材) for his story. And he found it {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to finish his dream. So he left his office to spend all his time on his interest. At the age of thirty－four, he became quite famous.

    Only Mother love is true love. It gives everybody everything all his life. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}you are still a baby, mother takes good care of you as much as possible. In your walking hours she always holds you in her {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. When you are ill, she stops her work right now to look after you day and night and forgets about {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. When you are {#blank#}4{#/blank#}up day by day, she feels very happy. When you are old enough to go to school, mother still looks after you all the time. On cold winter days, she always tells yon to put on {#blank#}5{#/blank#}clothes. She always stands in the wind {#blank#}6{#/blank#}for you back from school. When you hurry to leave home for school with little breakfast, she always feels {#blank#}7{#/blank#}about you at home. She usually knows about your study and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}much money on your school things. When you do well at school, the brightest smile will be {#blank#}9{#/blank#}on her face.

    Mother is always ready to give everything she {#blank#}10{#/blank#}to her children, not to receive. What true love that is in the world! We will remember Mother forever.
