Hi, my name is Elaine and I'm a teacher in Grade Six. I'm, going to talk a{#blank#}1{#/blank#}some activities of the Open Day of our school. The Open Day will be on the f{#blank#}2{#/blank#} day of the school. The students don't know each other because they are n{#blank#}3{#/blank#}here. First, I will ask them to talk about their names, their hobbies and so on. They will be very happy to share that. Next, they will draw a picture of the teachers.  Some of the pictures will be very f{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Then, they will play games together. The name of the game is to find friends. They can stand up and m{#blank#}5{#/blank#} around to ask others some questions. They will like it because they can know more about their classmates. The parents can also have a talk with each o{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. These are very interesting activities for the kids and it just makes them f{#blank#}7{#/blank#}welcome.

    One day, a Chinese student 1 Sun Huangqiang went to study English in England. His 2  name was the same as the English word “sun”

    England is a country with 3 weather. It is often cloudy or misty(雾), and it rains very often, so the people there don't get much 4 in the whole year.

    When the Chinese student 5 London, a tall English policeman 6 a long face opened his passport (护照)to check it. The policeman was7 in the Chinese name “sun” in the passport. He thought it was pronounced(发音)just like the English word “sun”, so he said to the Chinese student,'' I see your name is Sun. You are wanted here,” The Chinese student was quite 8. But the policeman began to smile 9 a moment,” Mr Sun, you're bringing sunshine to England, so we don't want you 10 away. ”

In the final of the men's 100m freestyle at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Chinese athlete Pan Zhanle achieved an unbelievable time of 46.40 seconds, breaking the world record and {#blank#}1{#/blank#}( success) winning the gold medal. This is the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}( nine) gold medal for the Chinese delegation(代表团) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} this Olympics. It's also the first time that a Chinese athlete has won {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Olympic championship(冠军) in the men's 100m freestyle event.

Terry is 65 years old this year. He is from America. He makes a tree house for his family this year. It's very beautiful.

The tree house is in his back yard with two beds, ten seats and a BBQ. It can hold (容纳) ten people. It is big and brown. Terry spends six months making the tree house. And he gets some help from his good friends.

Terry's friends also like this tree house very much. They often have fun in it. They talk, play games, and listen to music together. "I am happy to share the tree house with my family and my friends." Terry says.

People call him "World's Best Grandpa". Do you know why? Because he makes a cool tree house for his family.

I am going to have a party tomorrow night. I tell my mother that she needn't do 1 for me. My friend Jane would like to help me, 2 she can't. Because she has to look after her sister. So I will do everything by myself. I try to make 3 party a nice one. 

I sent invitation to my friends 4 . Now I am thinking about what I need to do tomorrow. Yes! I have to clean the room and do some shopping. I am going 5 some food, drinks and some fruit in the supermarket. I am going to make a shopping list 6 I go. I also have to decorate (装饰) the room. I need to do so many things, so I have 7 time to see the movie "The Wandering Earth".
