3-D-printed veggie steaks (素牛排) could be coming to a plate near you. A new company, Novameat in Spain, has developed a kind of steak, using 100% plant-based ingredients(成分).

The business development manager, Alexandre Campos said one of the company's purposes is to protect the animals. The idea behind this is to try to solve all of these problems that the animal meat industry(行业) brings to our planet, to the animals and to our health. "So that's why we're trying to bring people more choices of food. Something will replace animal meat, and it is better for the planet, for us and for the animals," he said.

"It didn't taste like a traditional steak but I was surprised because I did not expect that the texture (口感) would be so great. It was the first time I had tried it and I thought it was still in a more basic phase(阶段), but I was very surprised by both the taste and the texture," said Ferran, who tasted the steak.

The company plans to sell its steaks directly (直接地) to people and restaurants. With the development of science, it might one day be possible to produce up to 500 kilograms of the "meat" per hour.

ChatGPT, a smart AI chatbot (聊天机器人) tool, has swept the education world in the past months. According to a US survey of 1,000 students, about 90% of them have used ChatGPT to help with a homework task.

Developed by US company — OpenAI, ChatGPT is a powerful tool. You can ask it to write stories and e-mails, create recipes (食谱), translate languages and answer all kinds of questions.

Some schools in the US, Australia and France have banned the use of ChatGPT. For example, New York City public schools stopped students and teachers from using ChatGPT on the school's networks, CNN reported.

The move comes out of worries that the tool could make it easier for students to cheat on schoolwork. Some also worry that ChatGPT could be used to spread incorrect information.

"Critical-thinking (批判性思维) and problem-solving skills are necessary for academic (学术的) and lifelong success, but ChatGPT does not build them," said Jenna Lyle, the deputy press secretary of the New York City Department of Education.

Apart from bans, teachers are making changes to their classes to prevent the use of ChatGPT. Some college teachers in the US try to include more speaking exams and handwritten papers instead of typed ones, The New York Timesreported.

A few years ago,I visited theclassical gardens of Suzhou. During the visit, my attention {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(draw) away from the plants, bridges and stones, towards {#blank#}2{#/blank#} walls of the gardens. Mostly white, some parts of the walls are losing small {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(piece) of their coverings.

 This creates space in which light and plants can be seen. The walls are not only the boundaries of the gardens, but they also form protected roads {#blank#}4{#/blank#} guide you on a trip.
