Most of us have experienced unforgettable moments in our lives. The moment that I will never forget happened when I was fifteen.

For the first fifteen years of my life, I was the only child in my family. I didn't have any siblings. Luckily, I had always had my parents, who loved and cared about me a lot. They helped solve any problems I met and they did everything for me. What I had never really thought about was that, someday, one of them would no longer be there for me.

One day, I found out that my mother was pregnant(怀孕的), and it was big news in my family. Everyone was excited and happy, especially me. I imagined that I would have a baby brother, and I thought about playing and having fun with him. One day after school, when I ran to the hospital, my brother had already been born. But my mother was still inside the operating room, while my father waited worriedly outside. After waiting for a long time, the doctor came out and told us that they had stopped the bleeding(流血). He told us not to worry and my mother would be fine.

Many thoughts flashed through my mind. I could only imagine that my life would be full of darkness, sadness and hopelessness. I would never again have the chance to enjoy the love of my mother. During these fifteen years, my mother was always around like my dearest friend, watching over me, no matter what happened. I could not imagine how I was possibly going to live without her.

Today, my brother is almost two years old. On the day of his birthday, I always remember

this unforgettable event in my life. I think I'm a really lucky person, with great parents and a lovely brother.

You get up in the morning and look into the mirror. You look young. In 2135, many people can live to be about 150 years old. So at the age of 40, you're not old at all. And your parents look the same age as you!

You say to your shirt, "Turn red." It changes from blue to red. In 2135, "smart clothes" can change the color or style as you like.

You walk into the kitchen. You pick up the milk, but you hear the voice, "You shouldn't drink that!" Your fridge remembers the information about the milk. It knows that the milk is not fresh. In 2135, every household appliance is like your secretary.

It's time to go to work. In 2135, cars drive themselves. Just tell your "smart car" where to go. On the way, you can call a friend with your glasses. Such "smart technology" is all around you.

So will all these things come true? "All these will come true, even better," says a scientist. I couldn't agree more with the scientist. I am looking forward to the new life.

Life is full of regrets (遗憾). Anyone around you will have no {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (difficult) telling his regrets. But what can we do to avoid future regrets?

Make better plans

Find the right friend

A friend may make your life better and he or she can break your life as well. So you need to think {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (two) when you choose a friend. Good friends will always better your ideas. When you get into trouble, ask them {#blank#}7{#/blank#} help. That little help may get you good {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (result).

Never fear failure

Everybody {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (fail). Even the greatest person failed. We should not fear failure, because failure is not the end of the road. We must take failure as a chance to learn and improve {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we).

Life is good. We don't have to live in our past, but we do hope that we can plan better, live better, and work better when we have the chance to do so.

Traveling is life-changing at any age, {#blank#}6{#/blank#} when young people travel, they discover more about who they want to be and how they want to show up in the world. What could be better than that?

Plus, life is short and unpredictable, and sometimes you really do just have to say"YOLO"and go for it.

It's 6:00 p. m. Kate's family are having dinner. There is rice, eggs, salads, strawberries and some vegetables like tomatoes, onions and carrots on the table. But Kate doesn't like vegetables. She doesn't want to eat them and puts her bo wl away.

" Kate," says her father.

" Where are my hamburgers?" asks Kate.

" Don't think about them. We need to eat healthily," says Mom.

" How about some ice- cream, then?" asks Kate.

" Kate," Dad calls her name again. He thinks the dinner is nice.

Kate takes a bite(咬一口) of the tomato and quickly spits(吐出) it back into the bowl.

" Kate! Room! Now!" says Dad. He doesn't like her bad eating habits.

Kate runs to her room and cries, but she soon stops. Usually, her parents will get her some other food she likes if she doesn't eat dinner. So she waits.

At about 7:00 p. m., Mom tries to get Kate to eat some vegetables, but she says no.

At 9:00 p. m., Kate wants to eat something, but her parents still don't give her anything to eat.

At 10:00 p. m., Kate goes to the kitchen and sees some vegetables on the table. They don't look so bad. And you know what? They don't taste so bad, either.

Kate learns that she should eat health y food and live a healthy life.
