After a relaxing weekend, children have to go back to school on Mondays. For parents, they should do something helpful (有帮助的) to let their children get to school on time.

Let children take a good shower. It's good for children to take a shower before they go to bed. It can not only help them sleep well but also save time next morning.

Ask children to go to bed early. School starts at 8：00 a.m. So please let your children go to bed before 9：30 p.m. Your children should (应该) sleep for about nine hours every day. This is quite important because they have to get up early next day.

Make a good breakfast for children. Breakfast can help children study better (更好的) in the day. It can help students listen to teachers carefully (细致地) and think well in class. Also, it's good for their health.

Getting to school on time is very important for your children. So please help them. If you can do the things above (以上), they will study and live happily.

These days, many young people always say, "I feel a bit ‘emo'." The word means "emotional". It means someone has strong feelings. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

After a long day's study at school, you are very tired. So after school you go home to relax. When you get home, a robot welcomes you. He's happy to see you and helps you take your school things to your room. He listens to you talk about your school life and tells you a new joke. And he tells you to call your cousin and to say happy birthday. And then he helps you with your homework. 

This is your future, and the robot's name is NAO. NAO has a small body, big eyes and a large head. He can walk and dance. He listens and talks, and he even learns and thinks for himself. His creators predict that the robot will be in people's homes before 2040. This $16, 000 robot knows who you are. 

NAO can even express emotions(表达情感). He is a self-guided robot. A self-guided robot can sense(感觉), think and act. Other robots might do two out of the three. For example, a robot might sense things using cameras and think using computers, but with no arms, he can't act. Another robot can move and sense things, but he can't think for himself. These aren't self-guided robots. But NAO can do them all. 

American people like to say" Thank you" when others help them or say something kind to them. 

People of many other countries do so, too. It is a very good habit. 

You  should  say " thank you" when  someone  passes  you  the  salt  on  the table, when someone walking before  you  keeps  the  door open for you. When someone says you have done your work well, or you have bought a nice thing, or your city is very beautiful. 

" Thank you" is used not only between parents and children, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives. 

" Excuse me" is another short sentence they often use. When you hear someone say so behind you, you know that somebody wants to walk past you. 

It is impolite to interrupt others while they are talking. If you want to speak to one of them, say" Excuse me" first, and then begin talking. You should also do so when you want to cough or make any unpleasant noise before others. 

 Let's all learn to say" Thank you" and" Excuse me" . 

Talent shows are becoming very popular because they are exciting and allow people to see others' special abilities. These shows look for {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  talents in different areas like singing, dancing, and magic. They attract a lot of people who want to show their skills.

However, not everyone likes these shows. Some people think that the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}of the performers are not real. They might say they are poor farmers, but {#blank#}3{#/blank#} they are just actors pretending to be something they are not.

But if you don't take these shows too {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, they can be a lot of fun to watch. The best part is that they give people a chance to make their {#blank#}5{#/blank#} come true. So, talent shows are a way for people to enjoy and support others' talents.
