Asia is the largest continent(洲) in the world. If you have a chance {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (visit) Asia, which country will you visit first, China, {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(Japanese) or anywhere else? I think no one will miss(错过) China.

    China is in {#blank#}3{#/blank#}east of Asia, with a large population of over 1. 3 billion people. There are lots of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(nature) resources(资源）. The scenery is different from one place to another. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}the south of China, for example, Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou Provinces, the air is clean {#blank#}6{#/blank#}the sky is blue. You can enjoy the{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(beautiful) of the famous mountains and lakes. If you go there, do remember to take some{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(photo) with your camera. {#blank#}9{#/blank#}you go to the north of China, don't forget to visit Beijing, the capital of China. It is famous because it has a long history. Besides Beijing, you can also go to Harbin. It's very cold in winter and it is always{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(snow). There you can make snowmen with your friends.

    Do you know what is special about November and June in the UK? They are, possibly, the only two {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(month) with no school holidays. A newspaper recently did a survey among a group of students. In {#blank#}2{#/blank#}survey, 68 percent of the students said that their parents were at work in the school holidays. 73 percent said that they were bored during the school holidays and 35 percent said they were happy to go back to school! The results of the survey show that not everybody {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (want) to have many holidays.

    If you don't want to stay at home, go out and take part {#blank#}4{#/blank#} some interesting activities. A lot of schools organize different kinds of trips during the holidays, especially when they have a one-week holiday. You have many {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (choose) to make.

    Many schools take groups of students to some {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (train) centers. There, students can learn how to do things by {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (they). For example, students learn how to make a camp in the forest. They also learn a lot {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (many) about animals and plants. At the same time, they are {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (teach) how to find their way back to the centers.

    In most towns, some other centers offer students different courses,  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}as computer game design, film-making and painting. Students can also go abroad for school trips. They can practice their foreign languages and experience everyday life in different cultures.
