Today young people like{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to pop songs and pop music. There are many pop{#blank#}2{#/blank#} and singing groups ,like Back Street Boys, Secret Garden, West Life{#blank#}3{#/blank#} so on .They are foreign (外国的）singers. There are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} many famous singing groups and pop singers in {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.People like them very much. Many young people want to be pop {#blank#}6{#/blank#} .They think it will be a very good life. In fact,(实际上）most pop stars live a{#blank#}7{#/blank#} life. They spend (花费）most of their{#blank#}8{#/blank#}  on tour, and they travel{#blank#}9{#/blank#} one city to another and sing for people. Although (尽管）it can be{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  ,it can also be tired out.

    When we hear about “the homeless”, most of us think of the developing world. But the fact is that we can see homeless people{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. For example, how many of us would expect {#blank#}2{#/blank#} people living on the streets of a developed country like Germany?

    Kurt Muller and his wife (妻子) Rita had spent years making meals for the homeless of Berlin, Germany. They often stayed at home, made sandwiches, set a table in the street and gave food to the homeless. “I got such a strong{#blank#}3{#/blank#} when I saw thankful and happy smiles (微笑) on their faces.” said Kurt.

    The Mullers soon found that food and clothing weren't enough. “What these people also need is warmth and caring.” said Rita. The Mullers {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to give their phone number to the street people and told them to phone anytime. Rita made sure there was somebody at home to answer the phone and their home was always {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to the homeless.

    They were soon running out of all their time and money, so Kurt had to visit food and clothing factories to ask for help. Many factories were moved (感动) by their {#blank#}6{#/blank#} and spirit, they gave them enough food and clothing. 

    Kurt and Rita get nothing for their hard work. “We feel like parents,” says Rita, “and parents shouldn't expect money for {#blank#}7{#/blank#} their children. The love we get on the streets is the best thing for {#blank#}8{#/blank#}.” Though Rita and Kurt meet many {#blank#}9{#/blank#} and often get tired, they say they will go on with the work because they like the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of having made a difference in the world.

    Nowadays, after-class activities are becoming more and more popular in schools. We also have many {#blank#}1{#/blank#}of after-class activities in our school, such as English corner, playing basketball and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. I take part {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the English corner, because it can help me make some new friends here. If you want to have after-class activities, I would like to share some advice. You'd better choose the activities which are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} for you. You'd better choose what you like. Please relax yourself and enjoy the after-class activities. And your school {#blank#}5{#/blank#} will be colorful.
