The Maldives is a country in danger. This small country — made up of over 1,000 islands (岛) in the Indian Ocean—is under threat from rising sea levels ( 面临海平面上升的威胁).

A long time ago, there was an old, poor fisherman who could not catch enough fish for him and his family to eat. One day, when he pulled in his fishing net, he found a bottle inside that looked valuable,{#blank#}1{#/blank#}But he was also curious to see what was inside, so he took the top off the bottle. Smoke came out of the bottle and then out came a big, powerful genie(怪物).

The King also gave the fisherman's son a very important job and married one of the fisherman's beautiful daughters.
