    With the development of people's living condition, more and more people possess their own cars. Some of us think it is good to own a car. For instance, it's convenient, fast and comfortable means of transportation. Moreover, it shows that people are becoming richer and the country is much more stronger. It also made relative businesses and industries develop faster.

    However, others have different opinions, thinking that cars give up waste gasses and pollute the environment around. Too much cars will have some bad effects, such as more accidents and crowdedness. Besides, lack parking lots is another big problem.

    As far as I'm concerned, we ought to think careful before buying cars. As if we have cars, we may use it less.

    Last week, I take part in the Cultural Exchange Week. I enjoyed myself in England. I visited the city museum and several place of interest, which made me have better understanding of the English society, culture and history.

    What's more, I was luckily enough to meet my pen friend Tom there. I stayed at his home. And I'll never forget the days when we spent together. When I left England, he offered to me a dictionary for a gift. It's of great help for me to learn English. I will make full use of them and learn English good.

    I hope Tom will come to China when it's convenience for him!

    I'm glad that I'm getting more interested in English than ever. However, in the past I think learning English was to learn grammar rules or words by heart. I didn't like to read or speak English, nor I willing to talk with my classmates in English. Now with your English teacher's help. I have realized what the skills in learning English are in fact habits. I have begun to enjoy speaking English and communicate with my classmates. I often read some new article or look for some information on the Internet. For a result, I have become more and more interesting in English. And I made a great progress in English.

Boys and girls,

    To make better use of the books we have used but no longer need them, we've planned to set up the book bank. We can recycle books and magazines that is in good condition in an effective way, thus avoided unnecessary waste. Meanwhile, the notes in our books can help another students learn their lessons efficiently than before. What's equal important is that, by using the recycling books, a lot of money can be saved.

    Therefore, it's necessary that the Senior 3 students generously donate the used books and other learning materials, that will definitely serve as excellent examples for the students in those lower grade.

    Before Christmas our school hold a winter sports meeting. As it was the last one at school; we did what we could perform well in an opening ceremony. Greatly to our happiness, our show was very much successful. My classmates took part in various events, or our head teacher even joined us in the relay race. Except Wang Lin; several other athletes also ranked Top 5. Some brought cameras to record the excited moments. It was quite a wonderful experience and that we obtained was great fun. Those out-of-class activity in deed helped us relieve the pressure from learning, and promoted us enthusiasm for future study.

    Today is my grandma's birthday. My parents and I bought a birthday cake and prepared some gift for my grandma, that lives with my uncle in the countryside. We caught the early bus to going there. When they arrived, my grandma and uncle stood in the doorway, wait for us. We warmly welcomed. Because my uncle was good at cooking, so he went to the kitchen to cook for us. Soon we begin to have lunch and everyone felt very happily. At four in the afternoon we said goodbye for them and returned home.
