Jarek, Poland I don't know anybody from Poland here, but I'm lucky because the English boy next door is very friendly and kind. We are in the same class! I like teachers here. At home, the teachers seem a bit strict and serious. There are a lot of rules, too. Here, teachers are patient and don't give much homework. We students go out of school and buy pizza or burgers at lunchtime. We can't do that in Poland. | Daisy & Luck, the USA My sister and I like living here. It's cool! My sister loves the British accent (口音). Everybody here is very polite. But we don't understand all your strange words-we say "yard" not garden, and "apartment" not flat. The food is better here. There's Chinese, Indian and Thai. At home we eat too much fast food. |

I love the maths class because the teacher is really funny, just like my maths teacher in India. The school is so big and some students seem unfriendly. I'm from a small village school. It isn't far from the main cultural attractions, such as theaters and history museums. You can keep your pets there. D. It is a big three-bedroom apartment on the fifth floor in the city center. It has a balcony (阳台) where you can enjoy city views (风景). Famous theaters are just nearby, but you can't keep pets there. E. It is a big village house outside London, which is close to a large train station, so you can easily travel around the countryside and central London by train. It has a very large garden and you can relax there. F. It is a top-floor flat on a busy street in the middle of London. It is very small with only one bedroom but very new. There are lots of little museums nearby. You can't keep pets there. |
My Plan for a Day |
Tomorrow will be Saturday. I' ll get up between six and seven. I'd go downstairs before anyone else in the family is up to feed my out door pets and take my dog for a walk. |
I will have breakfast at 8:30. Then I' ll have milk and bread for breakfast because I think they are good for my health. My friends will come to my house and we' ll go to a reading club together. There, we will share what we have read over the past week with each other. In my opinion, it is meaningful for us to do the book sharing activity. |
At 12:30 pm, we' ll have lunch after the book sharing activity. After that, we plan to attend an English speech lecture(讲座) given by a famous English teacher. The speech will last from14:30 to 16:00. Then we will go to play basketball. |
At 5:30 pm, I' ll come back home and have supper with my parents. They will provide me with delicious food. I like tomato and egg soup best. I'm pretty proud of the food cooked by my mother. After supper, I'd like to wash the dishes by myself. |
