It's seven o'clock in the morning. It's time for breakfast. Jenny's mother is cooking in the kitchen. Jenny would like some milk and bread. Li Ming would like some eggs, bread and juice. After breakfast, Jenny and Li Ming will go to school by bike.

    It's a snowy day in winter. Sarah feels cold and she can't get up. Her father asks her, "What's wrong?" "Dad, I think I am ill. What should I do?" Sarah says. Her father is so worried about her, "You should see a doctor. Let's go to the hospital now." Sarah says, "OK. Don't worry. I will get well soon. And I will do more exercise to keep healthy."

Amy: We will have a new English teacher today.

John: Really? Who's our new English teacher?

Amy: Miss White.

John: What's she like?

Amy: She's young and polite. She's very pretty.

John: Is she strict?

Amy: Sometimes. But she's friendly.

Jon: It's time for the English class. Let's go to the classroom.

    My name is George. I am a student at No.5 Primary School. I like seeing films very much. My favourite cinema is Star Cinema. It is not far away from my home. It is big and clean. The seats in Star Cinema are very comfortable (舒适的). I sometimes go to see films with my cousins and friends.

    Last Sunday, I went to see the film Toy Story. It is about a party of some toys in a toy shop. The film was funny.

    Miss Luo is our English teacher. She is tall and beautiful. Miss Luo has many hobbies. She likes singing very much. She can sing both Chinese and English songs very well. She likes reading too. We often see her at the book shop. She also likes seeing films. She knows a lot about films. She often goes to the cinema with her daughter.

    Miss Luo is good at cooking. Sometimes she invites us to her home. She bakes (烘焙) yummy cakes for us. We all like her cakes.

    We love Miss Luo. She is both a good teacher and a good cook.

    Many people like to travel by plane, but I don't like it because an airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. Planes are fast, but they still take hours to get out of the airport and into the city.

    I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe (安全). Train stations are usually in the cities. When you are late for a train you can catch another one. You can walk around in the train and open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way. I know it takes a little more time.

    I also like cars. You can start at any time (随时), and you don't need to get to a train station or a bus stop. Also you can carry many things with you in a car. But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.
